Arisha's POV:
Shit!
I woke up with a splitting headache. Just great. As if that wasn't bad enough, I suddenly remembered-I have a 9 AM class!
"Putangina!" I muttered, scrambling out of bed. Almost forgot about it since classes didn't officially start yesterday because of the event. But today? Today is the real deal.
I rushed to get ready, skipping breakfast because I had no time. Now, here I am, sitting inside our Bugatti, stuck in the middle of heavy traffic.
30 minutes left. If this doesn't clear up, I'm screwed.
The moment we entered the school grounds, I didn't waste any second. As soon as the car stopped, I bolted out and sprinted toward my classroom. I cannot be late on the first official day. That would be embarrassing.
Oh, by the way, I'm taking a Business course. Not exactly by choice, but since I'm the heir to our family's businesses, it's only natural.
Just as I was running, my body collided with someone-hard.
Shit!
The next thing I knew, her coffee spilled all over her expensive-looking jacket.
"I'm sorry!" I blurted out, panicked.
But the moment I looked up, my breath hitched.
Mikhazra.
Her cold, sharp eyes locked onto mine, making my heart drop to my stomach. The tension between us was suffocating, especially after last night's argument.
Before I could even say anything, she simply stepped aside and walked past me-like nothing happened.
I swallowed hard.
Was I really too harsh on her last night?
...Nah. She deserved it.
She's trouble.
The morning passed in a blur. Lectures, introductions, professors droning on about course expectations-usual first-day stuff. By the time lunch break rolled around, I was starving.
I made my way to the cafeteria, scanning the crowd before spotting my best friends-Shezelle, Malisse, and Stazia-already seated at our usual table.
"There she is!" Shezelle smirked as I sat down. "Our mysterious leading lady!"
I raised a brow. "Huh?"
Stazia wiggled her eyebrows. "Oh, don't play dumb, Ari. We saw you at the balcony."
Malisse gasped dramatically, placing a hand on her chest. "With Mikhazra," she whispered, eyes twinkling with mischief.
I nearly choked on my drink. "Wait, what?! You guys-"
"Yup," Shezelle cut in, grinning. "We were on our way to the rooftop when we saw you two having some deep-ass conversation. What was that about, huh?"
"It's nothing," I muttered, focusing on my food.
Stazia scoffed. "Right, because people randomly meet in secluded areas just to talk about the weather?"
