𝟎𝟔| 𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤

It was now November, which meant fall break was here, and the weather was getting chiller. Today was the last day of school before Thanksgiving break, and Jariah and Jaylen, Ma'khari siblings, were coming home from college today. I was excited to see them, i talked to them every day, especially Jariah, on the phone since the first day I started living over there with Khari.

I put my arms around myself, the chilly wind blowing on me. Today, i was wearing a simple grey leggings set with a grey zip-up jacket covering my body with my black tasmn ugg slippers with my white leg warmer socks. My hair was in its curly state, laying on my shoulders

It was November now, and I haven't been home in four months, I haven't visited my house since August when the school year started. My father Tryone hasn't contacted me since he drove me over there to Ma'khari's that day. Sometimes, I wished it would stay that way, but I knew it wouldn't. Eventually, he would contact me, saying he wants me back at home since I haven't been over there. I knew the time was coming, but I wasn't sure if I was ready for that yet.

"Damn imma miss yall niggas" I heard Kez say he was shaking his head and clutching his heart. breaking me out of my thoughts. I laughed at his dramatics

"Bro, we only gonna be gone for two days, acting like we moving away or something," Jaden said, laughing

"Ion give a fuck, I might just fall out if i ain't in yall presence dawg damn then what if I miss something shit i might just have to use my senses and teleport to yall or sum" Kez said laughing

"Fuck yall hug me or something damn" Kez said standing up

We all got up and hugged him "Ayee stay safe yall, i love yalll" I said

"On bro" Ma'khari said

"No foreall" Kayah and Sa'myah said

I was now back at Ma'khari's scrolling on my phone on my bed waiting for jariah and jaylen to come.

I was still scrolling on my phone when I got an incoming call from my mamma. I immediately answered it. My mama calls me and siblings every day. My mama was still in contact with us even after the divorce with my dad. Even if my dad thought she wasn't a good fit for us, he never took us to see her when they separated, but my mama wasn't having that. Me and my siblings go over to see her every week. I remember when i first got suspension and i told my mama, and she cussed him out so bad, it was funny. Our mom never played about me and my siblings.

A'zariah didn't know why she never told her mama about what had happened with cameron four years ago, yet why she immediately told her siblings, maybe because she knew they would believe her. She didn't know why she didn't tell Ty'shawn or Jadayah, what had happened, or her friends yet showing her how trustworthy they are.

She kind of knew why. It wasn't obviously easy to talk about. Maybe because she was scared, terrified even that they wouldn't believe her like 𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒅 or just brush it off like 𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒅

Breaking away from her thoughts, A'zariah smiled. "Hello?" She said to her mama into the phone. "Heyy baby," her mama said, causing comfort in her. "Hey, Mama," She said. "How are you doing". "I'm good as always" She said, it was a lie sometimes she wasn't good, but today was a good day. "That's good" She said, "How you liking it over there with Jadayah and the others"? This time her smile widen "I love it so bad mama" Jadayah was like a second mom to her, Ty'shawn was better father to her than Tryone would most likely be she admitted in her mind, Ma'khari, she liked being around him, it made her feel good, Jariah and Jaylen she liked being around them too. They made her feel like home, like she never wanted to leave.
