"Trying to escape little snake" said the dragon king. "Did you really think I would let you go that easily"
Tightening his hand on the robe beside heart little snake narrowed his eyes at the dragon.
"You..." He spoke through pain. "What have you d...
"May I, Ah-Chen?" Dragon king's voice was soft, his lips barely inches away.
Little Snake smiled. "Sure."
The Dragon King leaned closer, but before their lips could meet, a sharp pain pierced his chest. He looked down to see the Cloud Light Sword buried deep in his heart, held firmly in Little Snake's grasp. Blood dripped down the blade. He looked into Little Snake's eyes, only to see him smirking.
The Dragon King's eyes widened. His hand trembled as he reached toward Little Snake. "Why?" he asked. Mo Yun, who had been standing nearby, was also shocked. But he didn't move since his master hadn't given an order.
"You did a good job pretending to be him" Little Snake said, smirking. "But you made one mistake. That old dragon has no manners, he never asks for permission."
The imposter reached for Little Snake, but before he could touch him, Little Snake pulled out the sword, sending him stumbling backward from the force.
"And he never calls me Ah-Chen" Little Snake added, pointing his sword at the imposter.
"What are you? What do you want?" he demanded.
"Damn it" the imposter muttered, his gaze falling on the gem necklace around Little Snake's neck.
Suddenly, his fingers grew long, sharp nails, and he lunged to attack.
Before Little Snake could react, Mo Yun stepped in front of him. With a wave of his hand, he sent a blast of spiritual energy at the imposter, forcing them to reveal their true self, a girl.

As soon as she was exposed, she turned and ran. Mo Yun immediately chased after her.
"Your Highness, don't follow. I'll handle this" Mo Yun said before disappearing after her.
"Little one" little snake turned back to see dragon king running towards him. "Are you okay?"
Little snake pointed the sword at him. "You... who are you?" he asked.
"The Dragon King skidded to a halt, his eyes narrowing at the sword aimed at him. "Little one what's wrong" he said, his voice steady but laced with concern. "It's me"
Little Snake stayed still, gripping the Cloud Light Sword tightly. His mind was spinning from what had just happened. His heart pounded as he stared at the man in front of him. The fake had been almost perfect, too perfect.
What if this was another trick?
"Prove it" Little Snake said.
"What are you say-" The Dragon King stepped forward, but Little Snake quickly moved the sword, stopping it right in front of the Dragon King's heart, almost piercing his robe. The Dragon King's eyes darkened as he looked down at the sword.
