Her brown eyes are empty.
Just like the space she stares off into
Like the space she explores.
Her smile never quite reached her eyes anymore.
The only thing in her brown eyes is sadness
Sadness clouds her eyes
Faux joy masks her face.
All she longs for is to stare into yours.
Once again to be filled with joy and life.
For her smile to reach her eyes...
