That is, until they showed her their barn that contained loads of artifacts they claim to be from another timeline. And they continued to dote on her, saying that she was their answered prayer to bringing about this phenomenon they call the Cleanse.

"Jennifer, you're the key." Gene said, "The way to destroy all false timelines and restore the real one."

Jean's grip on her hands tightened in excitement, "We're ready, sugar. What do we need to do, huh?" She pressed onto Jennifer. "How can we help you bring about the Cleanse?"

The thing is, to Jennifer's ears, they both sounded they'd just lost their marbles. She slipped her hand away from their hold, the feeling of unease resettling itself in just as it was lifted this afternoon. She found herself backing away from the Thibideaus. "You people are..." She sputtered, "You people are fucking crazy."

"Language, darlin'."

Agitated, she pulled out a knife closest to her and aimed it at Jean and Gene, threatening and warning them to not come any closer to her. "Hey, help me!" She shouted, "Somebody help me!"

It was only a matter of time before Gene and Jean had dropped the act. Gene Thibideau pulled out is little revolver, ready hold Jennifer at gunpoint. "We were so nice to you." Jean calmly tutted, "Brought you into our home."

"Gave you alpaca milk." Gene spat.

"Maybe seeing an old friend will help you jog your memory." Jean suggested.

Jennifer didn't know what they meant by that until they made their way over to the gigantic figured that was covered with linen. When Jean and Gene pulled down the huge cloth, the sight made Jennifer drop the knife.

"I believe you two are already acquainted."

Her knees grew weak at the colossal squid that towered over her. She remembered. She remembered very clearly, and she wish she hadn't. "No." She sobbed. She wanted to take her eyes off of the dreadful squid, but it was too big to ignore -- too traumatizing to ignore.

She didn't even notice the Thibideaus walking out after Jean patted her head. "Think about it, kiddo."

"Close 'er up, Rudy."

"No, no, no, no! Wait! Wait!"

The barn door had already been closed shut before Jennifer could catch up. "Don't leave me here with it!"

She pretended Five didn't exist even though he was seated right in front of her in a semi-crowded SBS, on their way to old Reggie's residence. Y/N could feel him stare while her vision turned red due to her bloody tears.

She saw another vision. However, she couldn't tell what image had just flashed upon her eyes. There was a lot of lava-like substances glowing and she found Ben walking around on his own in the middle of nowhere.

There were too many visions in one day, Y/N could no longer keep up -- she wasn't sure if this one's happening now or is about to happen or has already happened. Thinking about it made her palm prickly once again.

When she felt bumps on her hand, Y/N believed it was time she takes a look for any rashes. And it was rashes all right... If that was the right way to describe it.

What the hell?

The said rashes were glowing. There were spots of blue glowing along the lines of her palms.

"Is there something goin' on between you two?"

If Diego hadn't nudged on her elbow, the itch and the glowing on her palms wouldn't have disappeared in the blink of an eye. She turned to him with a puzzled look. "What?" She asked the man beside her.
