"Trying to escape little snake" said the dragon king. "Did you really think I would let you go that easily"
Tightening his hand on the robe beside heart little snake narrowed his eyes at the dragon.
"You..." He spoke through pain. "What have you d...
Little Snake and the Dragon King returned to the Wilderness with the goal of traveling to the Snake Tribe. However, since the Dragon King believed they should first resolve the conflict between Little Snake and Ye Dingzhi, they had been staying at the Dragon King's mansion, waiting for news from Ye Dingzhi's men.
Nearly a week had passed. Little Snake had been practicing the Cloud Light Sword, while the Dragon King occasionally visited Ye Dingzhi’s palace to assist with underworld affairs. Lilun came and went, always making a sour face whenever he saw Zhu Yan, the Dragon King, or Little Snake.
One day, after discussing various matters, the Dragon King and the Demon King were having tea. Tired of waiting for the Dragon King, Little Snake decided to go to the palace himself to look for him.
"Little one, you came" the Dragon King said as he spotted Little Snake.
"I've been waiting for you for so long, and here you are, having tea" Little Snake said as he walked to the Dragon King's side, not even sparing a glance at the Demon King.
"Mo Yichen, you've really grown bold, haven't you?" Ye Dingzhi remarked, looking at him. "Not only do you neglect to pay your respects, but you don't even acknowledge my presence."
"Greetings, Demon King" Little Snake said, offering a slight bow. "I missed my Old Dragon so much that I didn't even notice you there."
Ye Dingzhi shook his head and raised his cup, taking a sip of tea.
"Come, sit" the Dragon King said, guiding Little Snake to the cushion beside him. He poured him a cup of tea.
"Are you done with work?" Little Snake asked.
The Dragon King nodded. "We were just having some tea."
Lilun walk in, his face darkening at the sight of the Dragon King and Little Snake. Without hesitation, he walked over and dropped onto the cushion between Ye Dingzhi and Little Snake. He wore only his pants, with his outer robe draped loosely over his shoulders, leaving his chest bare.
"How long are you two planning to linger in the underworld?" Lilun asked, shooting a glance at the Dragon King before resting his chin on his hand. "Your presence is an eyesore."
"We'll leave when it's time" the Dragon King replied calmly, sipping his tea.
Ye Dingzhi glanced at Lilun and asked, "Where have you been, Lilun?"
Lilun huffed, crossing his arms. "Around."
Ignoring him, Lilun turned to Little Snake. "And you-"
He stopped mid-sentence when he noticed Little Snake wasn’t even listening. Instead, the little snake’s eyes were glued to his chest, an unreadable expression on his face.
For a long moment, Little Snake just stared, thoughts wandering. 'Why are they so big?'
Before he could stop himself, his hand moved on its own. His fingers pressed against Lilun’s chest, giving a squeeze. The room fell into stunned silence.
The Dragon King swiftly pulled Little Snake back, his grip firm. "Little one, what do you think you're doing?" he asked, his voice laced with both amusement and warning.
"I.... I didn’t do it, My hands did!" Little Snake protested loudly, looking both horrified and defensive. "Why are they so big?"
Ye Dingzhi's face darkened as he reached for Lilun, pulling his robe closed. "This is exactly why I always tell you to dress properly." he scolded.
Lilun, still processing what had just happened, turned to glare at Little Snake. "Are you out of your mind?"
Little Snake, flustered, pointed accusingly. "Then explain why they’re-"
"Enough" the Dragon King interrupted, placing a hand over Little Snake’s mouth before he could say anything more. He turned to Ye Dingzhi. "We're leaving"
Lilun and Ye Dingzhi watched silently as the Dragon King dragged Little Snake back to his mansion.
