"Aye A'zariah, come out here, please. i have somebody i want you to meet." Your brother and sister are already down here, too." My dad said from the outside of my bedroom door. I sighed from under my breath, me and my siblings already suspected what this would be about. My dad got a new wife and most likely, she has kids he want us to meet. My mama and my dad got divorced two years prior, and now me, my brother - 𝘇𝘆'𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗲, but we call him 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶 who's 16, and my sister 𝗻𝘆'𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗶 who's 17 and me and my brother call her 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗶, live over here with my dad the most of the time.

I got out of my bed and slid my hello kitty slippers on that i wore around the house on my feet before i went out of my bedroom door. I looked at my mirror that was beside my door. My curly hair was in a bun, and i had a plain white tanktop on with my hello kitty pajamas pants on. I shrugged they can see me like this i don't care, i thought to myself, and opened my door, walking down the steps into the living room.

Walking down the steps, i found myself into the entrance of my living room. Mari and Lani were already there, like my dad said, sitting on one of the couches. "Oh good, you're finally here, come sit down." My dad said, smiling. I went over to the couch where my brother and my sister were sitting, and I sat in the middle between them. Me and my siblings are super close. If nobody else got us, then we definitely always have each other for 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆.

"So what is this about?" My brother, mari said. We already know the deal, but i guess he said it so we can get this over with, as he should. "I'm glad you asked. You guys can come out now." As soon as he said that, a woman, a boy, and a girl came from the other entrance of the living room, and me and my siblings suspicions were right he did have a new wife and she has kids.

"Suprise?" My dad said the room was silent, and my siblings and I looked over to the three. There was a woman she had light skin and a bob, then there was a boy he had short hair that was kind of nappy and he looked alot older, lastly the girl she looked alot younger then her supposed brother, she had two braids in her hair. "This is your stepmom, Tanya, and her son Cameron eight-teen and daughter Ca'riah, fourteen". My dad said, introducing the three. A'zariah and her siblings were still silent. My dad was rubbing the back of his neck. "I know it will take some time to warm up to them, but i believe we can get there."

As my dad was saying that the Cameron boy was only looking at me, his piercing gaze on me. This cameron boy had scars all over his face and arms that were visible. He looks kinda of scary and strange, i thought to myself, and his gaze only on me was making me uncomfortable. I started shifting in my seat. "Is that all you needed to say?" my sister lani then said, breaking me away from my thoughts. "Oh yeah, that's it." My dad said,"Yall can go back to your rooms now. "

When he said that, i was the first one who immediately got up from the couch and went out of the entrance from the living into the steps quickly going up them. Most likely to 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚 from that creepy cameron boy who still had that 𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒑𝒊𝒆𝒓𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒈𝒂𝒛𝒆 on me as i walked up the steps to go back to my bedroom.
