Los Angeles, California
Alexis laughed hard, nearly choking on her drink while her and a couple of the boys including 50 watched Proof, Marshall, Bizarre and Kuniva as they engaged in a playful dance battle to Outkast's The Way You Move. They were all high on weed and X and overly buzzed except for Alexis and 50. She was buzzed on liquor and 50 stayed away from it all, but they allowed the others to enjoy themselves if they wanted. She liked a nice blunt every now and then, but she didn't mess with it too often.
She was having a good time laughing with the boys and partying with them. She asked 50 for the time and he mentioned that it was almost 12:30 at night.
"Damn, I need to get back to the hotel. I gotta head back to New York in the morning." She told them.
"Do what you gotta do, Lex. We'll hit you up later on." Proof nodded his head.
"I'll walk you out to the car." Marshall spoke up.
"Ok. 50, thanks for inviting me. I had a good time." She smiled.
"It's all good, ma. Have a safe trip back to NY." 50 replied, giving her a hug and a cheek kiss.
Alexis gave hugs to all of the fellas and walked through the house towards the front, texting her driver as Marshall walked behind her. Once they got outside, Alexis looked out for her car as Marshall stood next to her with his hands in his pockets.
"So what you got going on the rest of the week, Slim?" She asked him.
"Shit, studio time. Been recording some new shit, ya know." He nodded his head.
"I feel you on that." She nodded her head and paused as a thought entered her mind, "Wait a minute, doesn't somebody have a birthday coming up next week?"
He chuckled, "Yeah, I do. My boys said they got a 'lil get-together planned for me and shit."
"I gotta find something to get you."
"You ain't got to. That shit ain't important to me."
"Too bad, I'm doing it anyway and you're gonna like it." She sassed playfully.
"And if I try to stop you?" He raised his eyebrow, his tone just as playful.
"We'll be some fighting ass motherfuckers, then."
The two of them shared a hearty laugh and Marshall held his hands up in mock surrender.
"I'ma let you do you." He told her.
"Good man." She chuckled.
The SUV pulled up in front of the house and Marshall politely opened the door for Alexis, causing a smile to spread across her face.
"Wow, you actually do have gentleman qualities." She joked.
"Ha-ha, you ain't funny. Get ya ass in the whip." He rolled his eyes.
She playfully stuck her tongue out at him and climbed into the backseat. Marshall closed the door and she rolled down her window.
"Get you some rest and have a safe flight back to NY." He gave a head nod.
"Thanks, Shady. I'll shoot you a text when I land."
"Aight. See ya, Lex."
She gave him a playful wink and rolled up the window as the SUV pulled off. She sat back in her seat and looked out the window, staring at the beautiful houses in the neighborhood. She pictured herself having a mansion one day, enjoying the space either to herself or with a possible significant other if fate allowed.
