After sitting through a very awkward phone call between Claire and her sister, Madelyn was finally allowed to get out of the car. Claire climbed out gracefully. Madelyn scoffed at all the mud around her feet.

"Come on, Maddie." Claire rushed. Madelyn skipped along side her.

"Coming."

"What do they want now?" Owen muttered as the two women walked over to him.

"Mr. Grady? I need you to come take a look at something." Claire cleared her throat.

"Why are you calling me Mr. Grady?"

"Owen. If you're not too busy?"

"I'm pretty busy."

"We have an attraction." Claire started.

"That's not what you said last time I saw you."
Owen smirked. Madelyn chuckled. Claire glared at her. She stopped giggling. Owen rolled his eyes at Claire's control.

"The dinosaurs, Mr.  Grady."

"Owen." He emphasised.

"Just call the man Owen, for gods sake." Madelyn rolled her eyes. She was not impressed by all the flys and mud.

"A new species we made." Claire ignored the blonde girl.

"You just went and made a new dinosaur?" He raised one eyebrow.

"Yeah, that's kinda what we do here. The exhibition opens to the public in three weeks. Mr. Masrani wanted me to consult with you."

"Do you want to consult here or in my bungalow?" Owen smirked.

"That's not funny." Claire smiled, slightly. "And not appropriate for our company." She gestured to Madelyn, who furrowed her brows. "This is Maddie, she won't like you." She smiled.

"Eh, she's like twelve. It's fine." He shrugged.

"I'm sixteen!" Madelyn defended.

"It's a little funny." Owen laughed, acknowledging Claire's comment. "I like your shorts, by the way." Owen pointed to Madelyn's floaty, yellow shorts.

"Uh, thanks." Madelyn muttered.

"We would like you to evaluate the paddock for vulnerabilities." Claire walked after Owen.

"Why me?"

"I guess that Mr. Masrani thinks, since you can control the raptors..."

"It's all about control with you. I don't control the raptors. It's a relationship, based on mutual trust. That's why you and me never had a second date."

"Excuse me. I never wanted a second date." Claire said defensively. Madelyn groaned.

"Who prints out an itinerary or a date?"

"I'm an organised person!" Madelyn awkwardly followed the two adults.

"And what kind of diet doesn't allow tequila?"

"All of them, actually." Claire stated. Madelyn nodded, seems fairly obvious that you aren't allowed to drink in a diet.

"Well," Owen started.

"And what kind of man shows up to a date on board shorts?"

"It's Central America; it's hot."

"Ok, ok. Can we just focus on the asset please?"

"The 'asset'? Look, I get it. You're in charge out here, you gotta make a lot of tough decisions. It's probably easier to pretend these animals are just numbers on a spreadsheet. But they are not. They are alive."
