Prologue

"A novel is more than just words,

it weaves together emotions, connecting them as one."

Today is just another ordinary day.

An ordinary day where adults go to work and students head to school.

An ordinary day with chaotic morning traffic, and those who study or work close to home can count themselves lucky.

This young man is no different.

A tall, slender boy walks leisurely along the sidewalk, carrying his bag. There was no need for him to hurry, as Sathit Mittraphap High School was just nearby.

At first glance, he seems like an ordinary boy, much like this ordinary day in the capital city.

However, many things about him are far from ordinary — his strikingly handsome face that made the girls at school swoon, and his perfect scores in every subject that earned him the admiration of many teachers.

He, who was the school's popular boy, had no intention of dating any of the girls who fancied him.

He, who always scores perfect marks, spends every class falling asleep.

Even though Sathit Mittraphap is a well-known school ranked among the top ten in the country, for this young man, school is just a place to rest and take a nap during the day.

Because he has more important duties.

"Hey, hand over your wallet, or I' ll beat you!" A voice caught the young man's attention. He glanced sharply towards a narrow alley where a group of thugs was extorting money from a small junior high school student.

"Wahh! I need this money to pay my tuition..." the boy sniffled.

"Silence! Who told you to speak? Hand over the money!" One of the thugs threatened, pulling out a knife and pressing it to the boy's throat.

"Wahh, I' m scared! Please don' t hurt me..." The boy seemed like he was about to hand over the money.

The handsome young man stood watching for a moment. Seeing the scene, he sighed and strode confidently toward the group of thugs, unafraid.

"Keep the money for your tuition," the young man said.

The thugs immediately turned to glare at him, their expressions irritated by the interruption. Only the frightened boy's face turned from fear to hope as a saviour appeared.

"Don' t butt in, or you' ll regret it," one of the thugs threatened.

"Hey, boss, this kid looks like he might have some cash," another thug remarked.

"What' s up, kid? Hand over your money, or we' ll have to use force."

Then, all the thugs brandished their knives in a threatening manner. The junior high student collapsed to the ground, trembling in fear.

However, the handsome young man merely glanced at the group of thugs out of the corner of his eye, as if they were nothing more than an annoying swarm of ants. His dark eyes, as deep as the night sky, betrayed no fear; his expression was calm and emotionless as if confronting these thugs was just another routine task for him.

"Wait a second," he said briefly, reaching into his backpack to search for something. The thugs stood waiting, expecting him to pull out some money, thinking they had struck gold by targeting two easy victims.
