Samus knows she's about to enter what is essentially an active warzone. One that likely has multiple civilians running around. As such, she needs to adjust her current combat strategy. her Powerbombs are out of the question. As is the plasma beam due to the fact it pierces through multiple targets.
Right now, she's using her speed booster. Because she doesn't have to worry about maneuvering tight caverns, she can go much faster than she normally runs, reaching the evacuees in a mere 20 seconds. She slows down to match their pace. They number at less than half they did when the attack started. The survivors are running in three groups, with three armed soldiers each. Distributed unevenly throughout the groups are multiple teenagers in school uniforms, most of which are armed, but visibly shaking. Under any other circumstance, she would order them to stand down, let the professionals handle the protection, but there are none here. Samus is the most powerful one here, but even she won't be able to protect everyone at once. Instead, she commends their bravery, having the resolve to pick up their weapons and fight.
"LADY, I HAVE SUCESSFULLY HACKED INTO ATLESIAN AND HUNTSMAN COMMUNICATIONS."
"Good-"
"AN AIRSHIP HAS BEEN SHOT DOWN."
"What?!"
"CORRECTION, TWO AIRSHIPS HAVE BEEN SHOT DOWN BY A ROGUE ATLESIAN AIRSHIP."
Samus stops and looks up at the sky, spotting the two falling ships, no light coming from them aside from the flames. She can only hope they don't hit the city below. Everybody else stops and follows suit.
Samus hears a voice behind her, the white-haired lady. "Oh gods..." The black-haired one stands next to her. Both looking at the sky in horror. Samus can see why. There are fewer ships than there were before. Most of them are surrounded by thick, dark clouds, clearly airborne Grimm. One more ship goes dark and begins to fall out of the sky, holes visible in the hull even from where they are.
"As I said, things are only going to get worse from here on out, and it won't stop here. All we can do for now is focus on getting as many of these people to safety as we can." Samus would have preferred to say more comforting words. 'It'll be ok; Things are going to get better; we're through the worst of it.' But it would have just been empty words. And she knows the two of them would see right through it. Better to give them a goal to work towards instead.
"Y- You're right. We have to at least protect these people."
Good. Now to rally the rest of takes a deep breath as she pushes her emotions down. Can't afford to dwell on them right now. 'EVERYONE LISTEN UP!" She shouts to the crowd. "We made it out of the initial attack, but we are not done yet! What we need to do is rally at the Beacon Courtyard! From there we will be calling in for evacuation! Contact everyone you can, inform them of the rally point. Those who wish to help, form a perimeter around the civilians. Everybody else, stay together. We can't afford to go looking for stragglers." In mere moments, everybody gets into place, ready to start running again.
"You two, the ones in black and white, what are your names?"
"Weiss and Blake." The black one states, motioning to her friend and then herself.
Recording to Log Bookher helmet chimes as ADAM finished scanning the two.
"New intel received updating Log Book." This surprises Samus. She would have to check it out later, but the current situation takes precedence.
"Alright. Weiss, Blake, You two are with me in the Vanguard. Our job is to make sure the path is clear."
"Ok."
"Got it."
"Alright, let's go everybody!" Samus shouts as the three of them take off, quickly pulling ahead of the survivors. They don't want to risk getting them caught up in the crossfire of any fighting."

It's frankly a miracle that they haven't run into anything but Grimm, all dispatched with ease. She can see why that is though. The bastards are too busy razing the school. Smoke rises up from various places. There's not much Samus can do right now other than hope casualties were kept to a minimum. The courtyard is close, it should only take a minute for the evacuees to get there. there's already a sizeable crowd of people there, with a couple dozen Atlas soldiers there doing their best to defend.
"Do you know who the White Fang are?" Blake asks Samus.
"No."
"I thought so. You didn't seem to when I brought them up."
"Good observation. What am I keeping an eye out for?"
"They wear a white top, black pants, and most importantly, a Grimm mask."
"Copy that. ADAM, can you patch me through to whoever is in charge of evacuation?"
"Who?" Blake asks, doing a poor job of hiding her reaction to the name, which Samus ignores for now, staying focused on the task at hand.
"DONE. THE FLOOR IS YOURS, LADY."
"Thank you."
"What am I seeing?" A baffled voice asks over the comms. "How did you get-"
"This is huntress Samus Aran," She interrupts the man, hesitating slightly at calling herself a huntress, "Requesting evacuation of civilians at Beacon Courtyard. I repeat, this is huntress Samus Aran requesting evacuation of civilians at Beacon Courtyard, we have hundreds of people here in need of Evac, do you copy, over?"
She hears a faint voice over the line, likely another operator. He sighs and starts speaking again. "We copy Miss Aran. How urgent is your situation?"
"We have it under control for now. How soon can you get here?"
"We already had three ferries on route to the Beacon Academy, ETA one minute. But we can't spare any more than that. It's- Gods. It's really bad in the city. Just- Keep them safe down there."
"Copy that. Appreciate the assistance, Aran out."
"They're sending ships?" Weiss asks, the relief on her face evident.
"Yes. Three ferries, they'll be here in a minute."
"That- won't be enough."
"It's not, but things are worse in the city. At least here, we have things under control and can keep them safe until the ships return."
"I know that! It's just... difficult to accept." And something she certainly doesn't want to imagine.
