Charlie spends time with Freya

After the conversation, they agreed to allow Charlie to see Freya the day after.

So now he waited outside her room until she woke up from her sleep. He started to hear her heart speed up, letting him know she was now awake. Marcus opened the door to let him in, and he did so quickly.

When he was in the room, he walked over to Freya and knelt next to her bed under the close eyes of Marcus and Didyme. He then looked to them.

"Thank you for raising her. I wish I didn't give her away, but she looks like she has been living her best life. You gave her everything I could not. You made her a princess." Charlie said. Venom comes to his eyes that will never fall.

Didyme and Marcus listened closely. They could hear the pain in his voice.

"I can not forgive you for how you treated her, but I will thank you for giving us a chance to be parents. We love her more than words can say." Didyme spoke up, then looked at her daughter and continued. "She will forgive you because that's the type of person she is. She loves with her whole heart and hates to be mad at anyone for more than a minute. You will have to remind her every day who you are, but her reaction to you will be the same every day."

Charlie gave a small smile and nodded.

Hours later, Charlie sat in the chair next to her bed, reading a book to her. Didyme was sitting on the bed next to Freya listening to Charlie read, and the soft rhythm of her daughters heart and breathing.

"Mmmm." Freya began as her lips twitched ever so slightly, but they both saw.

"Jasper, she's coming back." Didyme spoke softly, and within a second, he came through the door and stood in front of the bed.

The three of them waited for Freya to come back with smiles on their faces.

"Mmmmuuumm." She managed to get out, making Didyme smile and brush her hand through her hair.

"I'm here, sweetie." She whispered as Marcus came through the door smiling at the sight before him.

Freya blinked a few times and slowly turned her head towards Didyme.

"Hey baby girl, I missed you." Didyme whispered and kissed her head.

"I've been here the whole time, mummy." Freya smiled at her mother. "And I heard everything this time." Her eyes locked onto Jasper, who smiled at her, making her blush.

Before she could say anything, Jasper spoke up.

"Hello darling, I'm your boyfriend." At those words, she squeaked and turned to her mum.

"He's my boyfriend." She said, shocked and blushed even more, making everyone laugh. Then she looked at Charlie and spoke again. "I forgive you. I don't remember what you did and why you gave me up, but I forgive you because even though I forget everything when I sleep or have a bad day, I know that they are the best parents anyone could ask for and I'm lucky to have them as my parents."

Charlie's eyes filled with venom at her words. He is thankful his blood daughter forgave him, but he still couldn't forgive himself he doesn't think he would ever be able to forgive himself.

"Life is too short to worry over the past because we are not going back there. We are going forward. I forgive you, and you should forgive yourself even if it seems impossible." Freya reached out for Charlie's hand and smiled. "Be like me and forgive and forget." She then smirked before continuing. "Because I know I will." She then chuckled at her own dig, and everyone joined in.

After a few minutes, her belly rumbled loudly, making her blush, and Jasper raced to get her some food as Marcus sat at the bottom of her bed and patted her knee.

"You have grown up amazingly, and we could never ask for a better daughter than you. You are so pure." Marcus said with a smile.

"Thank you, Daddy." Freya replied. "So I now have two fathers and a mother." She smiled. "That's awesome." The three adults chuckled.

Jasper returned with some food for her and smiled at her, making her blush as he handed it to her with a small 'thank you' from Freya.

They spent the rest of the day talking and laughing about whatever came to their minds. Aro and Caius came along with their wife's to see how Freya was doing. They all laughed as Freya called Aro the name she always did. Awo. That got everyone laughing, and Aro playfully glared at his niece before joining in the laughing. He would never really admit it, but he liked it when she called him that, and only she was allowed to call him Awo. If anyone else did, he would growl, and his and maybe lose their head depending on who called him it.
