Dinner came and went with a lot of laughs around the table, the guys told local stories, and filled the girls in on what's good to do in the winter. While the girls fielded questions about the big city.

When everyone was full and the sun was starting to go down, Margaret took plates back to the kitchen, coming back to grab the last few.

"I can give you a hand if you like, Margot?" Kiara asks, using the red heads nickname.

"Oh no, I'm sure I can do the dishes by myself" she huffs, somewhat dramatically.

Once she's back in the kitchen, she starts rinsing all the dishes. In the dining room, Kiara leans over in her chair towards Sam.

"I think she'd like if you helped her" Kiara says. The cowboy frowns "but she said she can do it by herself"

Kiara giggles "What she says and what she wants are two different things"

Samson thinks about it for a second before getting up to go help. He kinda wishes women weren't so difficult to understand.

Meanwhile, Kiara had been waiting to talk more with Felix but with everyone else around they'd hardly had a moment to themselves. Since everyone else had disbursed to else where in the house she decided now was her chance.

Kiara grabs his hand and pulls him through the kitchen to the study, shutting the door behind them.

"What's this?" Felix asks, voice deep as he finds his way to the leather couch on one side of the room.

"Well, We haven't really talked since that night and the restaurant and I've been wanting too" she says, going to sit on Mr. Bellamy's desk.

"Yeah? About what?" he asks, eyes trailing her long legs.

"Your audacity, first of all." She says, crossing her arms. "You flirt with me all night, then I don't hear from you?"

"If I remember right you were the one flirting with me." he tells her, expression so vacant she wonders for a moment if she's even talking to a human.

"We were flirting with each other" she rolls her eyes, getting a deep chuckle from Felix.

"Sure" he agrees. "And so now what? you wanna be my girl?" he asks, staring right at her.

"That's not- I'm just saying.." Kiara didn't expect him to be so direct, she'd lost her train of thought and with it her confidence and suddenly she felt like he was just messing with her.
