'he came to change lives. Instead, they changed his - and not for the better'

Minho entered the classroom after unlocking the door.

It scared him a little how big it was. Soon, it would be full of students listening to him.

He sighed, trying to stop his hands from shaking. He walked to the door, closed it, and sat at the desk. He planned his lecture for an hour and a half, but it could get longer with students asking questions.

It will probably be the easiest with the first year, but unfortunately, all the classes he got were advanced math, so the people there could try to prove him wrong.

It was his first day as a lecturer, being a fresh teacher just after his studies. He was wearing glasses to look more clever and a white shirt, as he didn't want to spend his first day in a suit. There were 2 hours until his first lecture, so he checked the projector and computer.

"Guys, I tell you, we have to be at that lecture earlier. I heard that the teacher is hot."

"He definitely is. Look at his photos from the diploma ceremony." Hyunjin showed them his phone "Do you have his Instagram account?"

"Nope, he doesn't post anything. Just a photo in the suit as a profile picture?" Felix bit his lower lip.

"Damn, what a shame."

"What's with your crush on the P.E. teacher?" Seungmin raised an eyebrow at his behavior.

"He's hot. You won't change my mind. But I can still have some fantasies."

"Jisung's going to see him the most because of his specification."

"It doesn't matter. What matters is if he can study well." The mentioned squirrel cleaned his glasses and opened the door.

They didn't expect to see their teacher already writing on the board.

"Good morning" Hyunjin led with a smile to the third desk.

"Good morning."

"Have you already started your lecture, sir?"

"No need to call me that." Minho got flustered but quickly regained his previous expression. "I haven't; I was just practicing before my first lecture. You can call me Doctor Lee instead."

"What was your master's thesis, Doctor Lee?" Jisung sat at the desk at the front, not in the third row like his friends. He decided to test their new teacher on every occasion.

"Elimination of quantifiers in various mathematical structures"

"It's quite a philosophical topic."

"It was, but I considered it from a very mathematical point of view."

"Interesting. Will we have philosophical questions on the lessons?"

"I'm not planning anything like that, but if this topic will make you more engaged in the lesson, I can add some of it." Jisung was amazed by the new teacher's specific approach. He was waving his legs under the table, taking the lesson as a challenge.

"Thank you. Will the task on the board be on our lesson?"

"Yes, this year we're starting with it."

"We haven't discussed that theorem yet."

"Oh, really?"

"Our teacher spoke quite unclearly, and we wasted a lot of time trying to understand the problems he was solving."

Minho thought for a moment.

"You know that theorem?"

"I've heard about that, but I wouldn't say I'm familiar with it."
