Elora grew up around the world of law and cops. With her mother's high status in the precinct and her father figure also holding a powerful title. She used to run the halls as a kids. Watching every officer complete their jobs. Perhaps that's why she found herself at the age of 22. Now stood at the precinct ready for her first day.
The usual busy morning sat in her view. The night shift walking off to the locker room to head home for the day. The day shift walking in ready for theirs. The howls and screams from the holding cells. Elora eyes watched it all. Her hands clutched behind her back as her brown leather satchel hung from them.
She continued to watch the workplace around her before a hand was placed on her shoulder. Her eyes widened at the sudden touch as she slowly turned to the owner of the hand which had now slipped off her shoulder. Before her stood an older man, one would assume he had been a cop for a while but yet the nervous smile on his face showed Elora otherwise.
"Im sorry to bother ma'am. Do you know the way to the captain's office? The officers over there say I need to show myself to her." The man questioned, His hands rubbing together as he spoke.
Elora slowly leaned to look past the man, noticing two female officers looking their way. Humorful smiles on their faces as their eyes watched them. She let out a small sigh looking back to the man placing a small smile on her face.
"They are pranking you. I assure you. I may be new but I can see Mockery." Elora shrugged looking at the man as panic soon washed his face.
"Your new also? Are you sure?" The older man questioned. His eyes squinting slightly in his confusion.
"Well the captain is my mother Nolan. However if you don't wish to belive me. It's down the hall to the left. I need to go get ready. I would suggest you do the same." The woman nodded her head before walking off. Leaving the man more confused then he was before.
