As soon as they stepped inside the room, Ye Dingzhi frowned. "I don't believe a word he says. Why would my sister want to leave like that?"

The Dragon King sighed. "Little One has no reason to lie about it" he said calmly. "Yun Ga, can you believe him, just for my sake?"

Ye Dingzhi crossed his arms. "Even if I do... it still doesn't make sense."

"Did you find any clues about her after Dragon Valley City?" the Dragon King asked.

Ye Dingzhi shook his head. "No. it's like she disappeared in there"

The Dragon King thought for a moment. "Then there’s a chance she’s still there. We should check it out."

Ye Dingzhi considered it and finally nodded. "Alright. It's worth a try."

There was a brief silence before Ye Dingzhi’s eyes landed on the small bells tied to the Dragon King’s hair. A smirk crossed his face. "What’s with the bells? Did you turn into a cat or something?"

The Dragon King rolled his eyes. "It's not what you think. They were just... something...."

Before Ye Dingzhi could tease him further, a loud yell came from outside.

"What are you doing?"

The Dragon King's face darkened. "Little one" He rushed out of the room, with Ye Dingzhi following behind.

They found Lilun gripping Little Snake by the neck.

As the Dragon King and Ye Dingzhi went inside, Little Snake leaned against a pillar, letting out a quiet sigh. Lilun watched him for a moment, narrowing his eyes before standing up.

"What... what are you doing?" Little Snake tensed as Lilun walked toward him.

Lilun leaned in closer, forcing Little Snake to press himself against the pillar. "Why don't you have a scent?" he asked.

Little Snake hesitated. "That's... none of your business" he said, trying to sound confident.

Lilun's eyes darkened as he noticed the gloves on Little Snake's hands.

"Take them off" Lilun ordered. "And whatever you're using to hide your scent... get rid of it."

"You..." Little Snake glanced nervously in the direction the Dragon King had gone, but before he could react, Lilun grabbed his chin and forced him to look back.

Little Snake's eyes flashed with anger, and he tried to bite Lilun's hand.

Lilun smirked. "Go ahead. Bite me, and I'll pull out your teeth one by one, especially those venomous ones."

His hand slid to Little Snake’s neck, and dark vines crept from behind him, wrapping around Little Snake's gloves and tearing them apart.

"What are you doing?" Little Snake yelled, struggling. Lilun’s grip on his neck tightened.

"How dare you hide what I gave you?" Lilun said coldly as Little Snake clawed at his hands, trying to break free.

"Lilun!"

The Dragon King's voice rang out, and Lilun's grip loosened. The Dragon King quickly stepped forward, grabbing Lilun’s wrist and pulling him away from Little Snake.

"What do you think you're doing?" the Dragon King asked, his voice sharp.

Lilun shrugged, completely unbothered. "Just disciplining your little pet" he said casually. "He doesn't seem to appreciate my gift"
