We got back in the water shortly afterwards, as I jumped the cliff again and that same rush of adrenaline was given again. We played waterchicken, as I stood on Finnys shoulders, and Jordy stood on Zanes, Jordy won of course. She was very competive, since I was the loser I had to sit out and watch from the sidelines, as I giggled and cheered when Haley swaped with me getting atop finnys shoulders as she shoved Haley to the water making her fall backwards with a loud laugh.
I got on Zanes shoulders shortly afterwards, and of course Haley won. We swam until it was dark, and when the moonlight began to creep in. We made our way back to the white sandy beach shoreline as Finny ran towards me picking me up beneath my shoulders as I giggled and begged him to stop. He finnaly put me down when the group made our way back to Max and Evy, as they sat there silently on there phones eating pineapple.
"Hey why didnt you guys get in?" Jordy said as she walked over to Evy placing her arm around her, Evy shook her head silently as she continued scrolling through reels on her phone completely ignoring her. Jordy rolled her eyes as she removed her hand and sat on the other side of the fire. My hair was half dry, as I ran towards the edge of the cliff grabbing my shorts and tanktop from earlier, and quickly pulling them over my thighs and above my head, shit I shouldve brought a hoodie.
Afterwards they soon brought out beers, and fireballs as they all drank, and suddenly the mood shifted and everyone seemed to be getting tipsy, I was never a drinker. But tonight I was. I was on my 2nd cup when Zane walked back over from Haleys car grabbing her bong from the backseat of her car. I watched silently as it was passed around and Haley, and Zane both hit it.
"You wanna try?" Zane asked as he put it near me. I looked at it silently watching the smoke come out the tube, i debated in my head over and over again if I wanted a hit. One side said dont do it, the other said your already a fucking a loser so you might as well. that side won. "You dont have to.." Haley said looking at me all eethereal, she was most definetly high.
I grabbed it roughly before putting it against my lips and trying my best not to inhale it, after a few seconds I pushed rhe object away from me whilst coughing loudly and trying to catch my breathe. Evy looked at me up and down, which sent a shiver down my spine. "I was gonna tell you be careful to not inhale, but someone got too excited, huh?" Zane said as he looked at me whilst smirking. I laughed loudly, as the feeling suddenly hit me, it felt like I was on clouds, like a overwhelmingly blast of rainbows hit my face. Like I was on paradise.
Hours passed as we sat there talking, Finny right beside me, high as fuck. As I layed on his stomach. Max and Evy sat by a nearby tree sitting against the trunk as she layed in his lap all sympathetic and shit again. Jordy was laying on the ground staring up into the sky, everyone was fucked. And Haley and Zane were nowhere to be found. Night fell soon afterwards, as I looked at Finny whilst he smiled at me.
