Loona Part 2: Hints

Start from the beginning

"I was trying to resuscitate them! And it looks like it worked." Blitzø said, getting up, crossing his arms, and sticking his tongue out at Loona.

"You were desperately choking them, begging them to come back to us! They weren't even dying!" Loona shouted at him, lifting her arms into the air in a state of exasperation.

"Well, I couldn't hear them breathing, so—"

"Will you please shut up!" You shouted, raising your own arms to mirror Loona subconsciously. You had a pounding headache, and you didn't need to hear them argue right now. Both of them went quiet. One of your arms had felt heavier to lift, and seemed larger in your peripheral. You looked over and saw that you had a cast on.

"Well, that's just...whatever. Why are you here?" You turned your head to ask Loona and Blitzø. The voice that been coming out of you was hoarse and angry. Loona looked hurt, and she turned her head away from you. She rubbed her arm, embarrassed.

"We're here so Loona can apologize." Blitzø said, matter-of-factly, nodding his head as he did so.

"I already did apologize!" Loona turned back and snapped at Blitzø. "You were going to fire them until I convinced you not to! I didn't need to be here!"

"Yeah, and you told me their fucking sob story when you did, so I want to hear you apologize! This is your first time actually regretting beating the used condoms out of someone, so I need to hear it from you. Again!" Blitzø snapped back, pointing to you. He seemed genuinely angry at his (adopted) daughter for once.

Loona came up to the side of your hospital bed. She rested her claws on the small side railing that existed there. Your face flushed as she came close. You looked up at her. You were almost blinded by the lights above you, so you couldn't see her face.

"I'm sorry," she said under her breath.

"What was that?" Blitzø said, expecting her to repeat it louder. He had crossed his arms and stuck the side of his head out like he was listening intently.

"I said, I'M SORRY!" Loona turned around faster than you could blink, and had shouted at Blitzø with such force that her ears were folded back, her eyes were closed, and she was hunched over. Her tail stuck out onto your bed, fur standing on end.

"Now you listen here little missy, if—"

"It's alright, Blitzø," you croaked, trying to stop another argument from happening next to you, while you already had a headache. "I heard her. You heard her. We talked about it. It's ok."

Loona relaxed, her shoulders dropping, but she didn't turn around to look at you. You could've been wrong, but you could've sworn her tail swished a bit on you, when you weren't looking.

"Well, that's...good. That's good." Blitzø relaxed as well, suddenly becoming concerned as he looked at you. "This really is the first time Loona's been sorry about hurting someone like this. Satan only knows how many times she's beaten me over the head with the office water cooler."

"Well, you deserved it." Loona said to Blitzø. Her tail was definitely swishing back and forth over your blankets. She noticed, grabbed it, then quickly stalked to one of the chairs on the other side of you. You couldn't see her while you looked at Blitzø, who had the door behind him.

"I'm the one who should be sorry, Blitzø," you said, voice straining. "I escalated the fight, and I definitely helped destroy the conference room when I did it." You were genuinely sorry, and though your throat was having a hard time communicating it, it managed to come through in your voice.
