Did I mention my birthdays coming up, in one month exactly September 25.
These are thing I think about often, Gia's always been big on celebrating birthdays. But I never cared, but for some reason this year I felt extra excited and actually looked forward to it, seventeen, and you wanna know why?
Seventeen meant freedom.

I walked back to my car once the schoolday had ended, after first hour the rest of my classes werent all that bad, for lunch I sat by myself. I didnt even bother going to the lunch room, I grabbed my lunchbox from my car, walked back into the school and ate in the bathroom whilst watching the sitcom friends.
I didnt wanna make friends, and I didnt care to, I'd rather isolate myself then ever socially speak to someone during lunch, thats when I knew I had changed so much.

The rest of my classes were a blur as the schoolday went on, Evy was in 2 more of my classes, AP english, and PE, and Haley spoke to me alot during History.

I got in the car and locked it, and started the engine before driving home. The drive as usual was mysterious and eerie with the greenery and tall forest trees everywhere. When I finnaly made it home about a two minute drive from my house one of the other houses nearby that I always thought were also nice, I saw a redhead girl getting out of a white Jeep Rubicon, Evy Smith.

So we were neighbors, huh? That mean Finny was also my neighbor. I continued driving and the only thing dividing us were a few trees before pulling into my houses driveway and parking on the side. I took a deep breath after realizing I had actually survived my firstday at a prep school.

I stooped my head low against the steering wheel before finnaly deciding to get out, grabbing my phone, bookbag, and waterbottle and shutting the door and maksing sure to lock it. before walking towards the front door.
Then there was that eerie feeling again like someone was watching me, as my goosebumps got thicker, my skin crawled, the hairs on my skin stuckup, and a long enduring shiver was sent down my spine.

The air cooled, and I heard a twig snap, as I turned around fastly but no one was there. I breathed heavily and continued walking to my front door before shutting it behind me fastly and locking it securely.

"Blake!!!" Gia called out as she screamed out my name excitedly, Mara walked past the front door heading up the glass stairs with a laundry basket before smiling at me, I dropped my bookbag on the floor and ran up to hug Gia.
Her face lit up as soon as she saw me, her hair was in a messy curly bun and she was wearing a hoodie and shorts.
"Aah! You look adorable in your little uniform." she said in a squealy voice making me smile.

"So how was your first day.. I wanna hear all about it, the boys, the girls, your teachers, everything." She said grabbing my shoulder leading me to the kitchen as she ate on a peice of toast.
As I sat and talked about my day Gia made me avocado toast, sprinkling all my favorite seasonings on top, and a runny poached egg to go on top.
