It had been two weeks since they found out Charlie was alive and that he knew Freya was too. The guard had been on edge and made sure they always knew where Freya was. Jasper refused to leave her side along with her mother and father. She didn't understand what was going on and she really wanted to go to the shops. She didn't know what for, but she knew she wanted to, so she snuck out through the bathroom window and skipped down the street, not knowing where to go.

Once Jasper noticed Freya had been a while, he knocked on the door and got no answer, so he opened the door and saw the window open.

"Shit." He hissed racing to the throne room. Not even knocking as he was in a rush. "Freya's gone."

That caught everyone's attention. Aro is the first to speak up.

"What?"

"She climbed out of the window in the bathroom." Jasper said rushed.

"How did you let that happen?" Caius snapped at the younger vampire.

"Well, I didn't make the bathroom vampire soundproof, did I?" Jasper hissed back at him as the major began to come out.

"ENOUGH." Didyme roared.

"While you all argue, my wife and I are going to find our daughter." Marcus hissed angrily at the arguing vampires.

Freya skipped humming, whatever came to mind as she looked around. She was obvious of the man who followed closely behind her.

He was waiting for the right time to grab her. The time came when she went to turn onto the street, but he grabbed her around her waist and put his hand over her mouth.

Freya tried to fight and struggle as she felt her mind turn in on itself, and she just stopped moving.

The man took her to his hotel room not far from where they were and sat her on a chair, taking a seat across from her and smiling softly.

"You are alive." He whispered softly. "Freya, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." When he didn't get a response, he started to worry. "It's me, Charlie. I'm your dad." Freya still not replying confused him she always replied to him when she was younger. Then panic set in. Did he break something, or was he too rough? "Freya?" He whispered.

Alice turned up and walked in as Charlie got into a fighting stance.

"She's locked in herself." Alice said, not looking mad, just worried. "She will be like that for a while because you scared her."

"You and your family lied about Freya being dead." Charlie hissed.

"At the time, we thought it was best." Alice held up her hands. "Bella was a threat to her, and you had chosen Bella over Freya every time. We couldn't see her like this again."

Charlie looked at his daughter with a look of regret.

"I made mistakes. I never wanted to hurt her, and I did. I'm a terrible father, but I want my daughter back." He said sadly.

"You can't have her back." Charlie looked at her and hissed, getting ready to fight. "Not really. She has a family. One that loves her and that family will burn this world to ash to find her. She is your blood, but she is their soul daughter and my brothers soul mate." Charlie was conflicted he couldn't let her go again. "Come with me to take Freya back. I will explain, and no harm will come to you. You will be with her as a second father after you show you can be trusted by her soul parents."

After thinking for a while, Charlie moved away from Freya, allowing Alice to go to her and pick her up.

"Nothing will happen to you, Charlie."

As they left, they met Marcus and Didyme, who hissed at Charlie, taking Freya from Alice's arms and holding her to her chest.

"He didn't mean to scare her. He just wanted his daughter back and was upset we lied to him. Please give him a chance. I've seen it. He means no harm."

Marcus, even though still mad, nodded.

"Very well, but you will show us we can trust you, and you are not to be with her alone. Not yet." He said lowly as Charlie nodded.

"I will do anything to be with her again." He replied gratefully.

Didyme had cleaned and changed her daughter and placed her in bed as Jasper entered and flashed to her side.

"She will be ok." Didyme said softly.

"Who did this?" Jasper said, upset that his mate laid in bed locked in herself.

"Charlie did, but he didn't mean to." She replied sadly.

Jasper nodded, sitting down and holding Freya's hand.

"My love, I am here, and I am not leaving your side." He kissed her knuckles. "Ever again." He kissed her knuckles again. "You'll be sick of me." He laughed, knowing she wouldn't.

Didyme laughed as she went and sat near the fire with a book.

"She will always enjoy your company. She grows up too fast, but I am glad that she still has the innocence." Didyme said softly.

"She always will." Marcus said as he walked in. "How is she?"

"She is fine as far as I can tell. I just wish she wasn't trapped in herself." Didyme sobbed. "She hasn't been like this for years." Marcus hugged his mate as Jasper hugged his.

"She is strong she will come back soon." Marcus whispered to her gently.
