So the day started off great, the bus came awfully late so we were late for the orientation thingy on the campus.
There seems to be at least 200 students, but my friend J says it's 107. (Still, a LOT)
Then we had to listen to a 2 hour lecture on why science and math is important, it was honestly boring, I think I kinda fell asleep during it.
Then we had lunch, thankfully it had not spicy things so I could actually eat, unlike our school.
Then we had a class on math and Fibonacci Pattern. That was... Okay.
Then we had bun break. That was really good. But they only gave us 20 minutes to eat. They gave us a small bun-like thing that tasted like honey, a capri-sun juice, two chocolate cookies and a madeleine.
Then we had a science lesson on illusions. That was really fun.
Then we had dinner. It tasted terrible. The corn soup and spaghetti was awfully salty and the kimchi was really really spicy. The rice had friggin beans in it.
Then we had a team project class (that's when we had the Magnus Effect Debate).
This was a student only class (yeah there was a teacher over seeing us but they didn't help and they frequently went outside for other stuff) so the boys went Ka-razy and played with the water (ended up getting told off and they had to clean the mess, honestly you'd think they were babies), the other team had some other stuff that required water so...
At 8:20, they gave us another snack. Honestly, I really think the place is trying to make us gain weight.
Then we continued the debate.
The place is honestly really scary. Like, really, really scary. The lights come on automatically when someone walks right below them so it's dark until you pass the light. If someone is at the far end, they look all black and blurry so they look like ghosts. The whole building is dark except for 20 classes and the building is huge so if you get lost (I did) you have to walk a lot until you find someone to help find your way.
At 9:00 they gave us this pack with a blanket and a towel. That's supposed to last for three days and two nights. We moved to our dorms. The walk was really long. THE PLACE IS SO SMALL. I mean, I expected it to be a little bigger than this. I showered and the bathroom was smaller than the BED. Really. Like, half the size of the bed.
This place is also strict. No food. No exchanging rooms. No visiting other rooms. Or they'll call our parents. Like, that takes away half the fun.....
The dorm has two students in a room. They divided us up with our surnames. Like, why not schools or districts? There are two people from each school/district. IT ENDS UP PERFECTLY.
It's 10:25 pm rn.
My roommate doesn't seem to be planning to sleep any time soon.
The bed is honestly comfy. Even if it's small.
Also, if a serial killer came to the dorms, they can actually kill all 107 of us, except the chaperones. The password is all 0000*. (And the front door isn't even locked, all they need is to ride an elevator to the 4th floor (that's the girls floor) and the 5th and 7th (the boys floor) and have a killing spree. (For those who want to actually come and murder us, we're at the Cheongju National University of Education-).
It's okay for a free trip, though I heard it cost 100,000,000 won, so yeah.
