"Ah-cheng" Fei gently shook the sleeping little snake. "Ah-cheng, wake up. It's almost noon."
"Just a little longer, please" the little snake mumbled, snuggling deeper into the pillow.
"Ying Lei said you were really drunk last night" Fei said, sitting on the bed. "I brought you some honey water to help you feel better."
"Honey water?" The little snake slowly sat up, still holding onto the pillow. His inner robe had slipped off his shoulder, and his hair was a mess. He rubbed his forehead and said, "My head hurts... I don't even remember what happened."
"Look at you" Fei said, adjusting his robe. "You're a mess. How much did you drink last night?"
"Ah, just a little" the little snake said, Fei make a face as if saying really. "Okay, maybe more than usual. A lot of things happened recently, and I just needed to relax for a bit" he explained, waving his hands around.
Fei smiled. "You're so cute."
"What?" The little snake looked up, surprised.
"I said you're cute" Fei repeated, picking up the honey water from the bedside table.
Suddenly, the little snake screamed, causing Fei to drop the honey water bowl.
"What the hell, Ah-cheng?" Fei asked, shocked.
"I know" the little snake exclaimed, memories from last night flooding back. "What the hell did I do?"
He buried his face in the pillow. "I must've gone crazy" he muttered.
"Little one, are you awake?" They heard the Dragon King's voice from outside.
"No, no, I'm not!" the little snake muttered, panicked. "Don't come in!" He shouted.
But the door opened. The Dragon King entered, holding a tray. "I didn't wake you up because you slept late last night" he said, looking at Fei. "Looks like someone else woke you up" he added with a frown.
The little snake, already hiding under the blanket, didn't answer. Fei picked up the honey water bowl from the floor. "I'll clean this up later" he said, leaving the room and closing the door behind him.
The Dragon King walked over to the bed, placed the tray on the bedside table, and sat down. "Little one, do you want to sleep more?" he asked softly.
"Yes, please" came a muffled voice from under the blanket.
"But it's already so late. You need to eat something" the Dragon King said, tugging at the blanket.
"Can you just leave?" the little snake's voice came from the blanket. "I'll come after freshen up"
"Do you need any-" The Dragon King was cut off.
"No... just no" came the muffled reply.
"Okay then" the Dragon King said. "I brought you some honey water. Drink it, okay?"
"Okay" said the blanket.

The Dragon King sat at the table with food, waiting for the Little Snake. The Little Snake peeked at him from behind, thinking, 'How am I going to face him?'
"Why are you peeking?" Ying Lei's voice startled him. "You know he's all yours, right? You don't have to-"
"How do you know?" Little Snake quickly cut him off.
Before Ying Lei could answer, the Dragon King appeared nearby and said, "Little one, you're here."
"Ahh..." Little Snake jumped in surprise and hugged Ying Lei's hand tightly.
