In his room at Hope's Peak Academy, the Ultimate Singer [Y/N] [L/N] has just finished setting up the surprise he has for his girlfriend Kirumi.

Alright, the karaoke machine is hooked up, so all I have to do now is decide what song I wanna sing to her. Luckily, I have the perfect one in mind that I know Kirumi is gonna love.

He thinks to himself with a smile before typing up the song on his phone.

Being the Ultimate Singer, I'm good at performing multiple different genres, but my absolute favorite type of song is the love ballad. So now, it's time for me to practice a little before I sing for Kirumi.

Putting his headphones on, [Y/N] begins listening to his song of choice and sings along in order to warm up for his performance to his girlfriend later that afternoon.

After helping out several of her classmates with various things, Kirumi receives a text message from her boyfriend, causing a smile to appear on her face.

I've been so busy all day that I haven't had the chance to check in on [Y/N]. I wonder what he's been doing?

Reading the Ultimate Singer's text, Kirumi's smile grows as she begins making her way to his dorm.

[Y/N] told me he has a surprise for me, which knowing him, it's most likely something music related. I enjoy listening to him perform, so naturally I wouldn't mind in the slightest if that's what my surprise is, but there's only one way to find out for certain.

Texting him back that's she's on her way, Kirumi can't help but feel a little excited to see what her boyfriend has in store for her.

A few minutes later, Kirumi arrives at [Y/N]'s dorm and enters, only to find that the lights are dimmed and her boyfriend is standing in front of a karaoke machine with a microphone in his hand.

Seems like my assumption was correct, he is going to sing.

The Ultimate Maid thinks to herself as she approaches her boyfriend.

Kirumi : I had a feeling this may be my surprise, and I was actually hoping it would be. After all, you have a wonderful singing voice dear.

Not answering him right away, Kirumi proceeds to embrace her boyfriend tightly before looking at him with a love filled expression.

Kirumi : That was absolutely beautiful [Y/N], I loved it greatly.

[Y/N] : Glad you enjoyed it so much babe, because that song is quite special to me.

He says as she breaks from their embrace and looks at him curiously.

Kirumi : Oh? Why is that [Y/N]?

[Y/N] : It happens to be the song my father sang to my mother when he confessed to her, so in a way, I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for that song. My dad always told me there's nothing more romantic than singing to the woman you love, so I decided to follow in his footsteps. I love you Kirumi.
