Cora and Santiago

Over the 10 years, Cora had moved to Italy and helped look after Freya as well as cook for them.

They had also got married 2 years after they met, as they wanted to take it slow and she knew she would have to become a vampire soon and it didn't bother her as much as she thought because she was going to spend forever with he man she loves.

3 years into the marriage, she finally allowed him to turn her, so she was close to his age.

Santiago is very protective, so whenever a man or woman looks at his wife with lust or disgust or anything unkind, he would kill them without even thinking about it.

He would not allow anyone to disrespect his wife and mate. He had also become protective of the little princess, seeing his mate happy around her. He knew she wanted kids, and he didn't want to risk losing her in childbirth, so he had at one point gone and kidnapped a kid only for his mate to become angry and demand he return the poor child to her parents.

After 9 years of the relationship, they got permission to adopt a child to start their family with the help of Freya due to her being the only one they can't say no too.

They named her Fay, and she looked like a mixture of them both, but with bright blue eyes.

Fay was not long since born when they adopted her. She instantly became the light of their life's. When the girl turned one, her first work was 'reee', which was meant to be freya as she had seen her and got excited, and her first steps were to her mother.

Their lives were going great. Aro and the King's gave them the job of running the zoo and making sure everything was perfect and the animals were safe. The volturi even bought them a house that they had been looking at, that was near the zoo.

Cora was mainly in the cafe doing cooking, which drew even more people in. Santiago would often work in the office doing security checks and ordering whatever they were low on and hiring vampires that could be trusted.

Their daughter was either with Santiago or Cora, depending on the busyness on the day or who their daughter wanted to be with. (Mainly mummy cora.)

Today, they had time off from the zoo, so they went to the castle to see their friends and to see the little princess who wasn't so little anymore.

Upon arriving, they saw a few vampires rushing around. When Santiago saw Felix, he stopped him to see what was happening.

"Freya noticed someone following them, and Jasper saw him too, but we need to find out if he is really here or someone who looks like him."

"When and where?" Cora spoke up sternly.

"At the zoo yesterday."

Cora nodded and turned to her mate.

"Go and get all the recording from yesterday at the zoo and bring them here. We shall find out from them."

"Yes, my love. Great idea."

Santiago kissed his wife and daughter's head and left quickly using his invisibility so no human could see him.

"You have him trained well." Felix laughed.

"He knows not to bite the hand that feeds him." Both Cora and Felix burdt into laughter until they walked into the throne room.

"Ahh, Cora dear. How are you?" Aro asked, but Cora could sense he wanted something.

"Good, thank you, Aro, and before you ask, I have already sent Santiago to get footage. Do you mind telling me who we are looking for?" She spoke up as her daughter played with her necklace.

"Thank you, dear, and all in time. We wish to watch the footage before we go any further." Aro said softly.

"Of course." She replied and walked out to find Freya, who was with the Cullens.

Arriving, she asked Esme to watch her daughter so she could see what was going on but kissed Freya and Fay's head before she left again.

As she got back to the throne room that was now filled with TV's and DVD players. Santiago walked in with what they needed and got to work.

They had watched the recordings sped up for about an hour before Cora gasped and paused the recording she was watching.

"It can not be." She whispered as everyone sped to look at the screen.

"Where, my love?" Santiago asked, placing a hand onbher shoulder to which she grabbed on instinct.

"Right, there." She pointed to a man on the screen.

"Oh my." Aro said.

"How is it not possible?" Caius asked, annoyed as he didn't understand.

"The last I heard. He had killed himself." Cora answered eyes still glued on the screen.

"Who and why?" Caius asked, still not understanding.

"He apparently killed himself out of grief."

"Who?" Caius snapped.

"Charlie."

"The man that chose the bloodbag over his own blood." He started to understand.

"Yes." Was all Cora could say.
