Music echoed around the roof of the room, causing everyone to groan as they yawned. For the second time, Eden had be awoken from her nightmare, the nightmare where Daeho had died in. With her heart beating, she tried to sat up but instead hit her head, forgetting she was below the bed.
Groaning loudly, she fell back whilst holding her head in pain.
"Motherfucker...."
A groan escaped from beside her, causing her to flinch as she quickly got out from below the bed, she watched as Daeho yawned loudly, his messy hair falling in front of him. Moving his hair away from his eyes, Daeho noticed Eden staring at him, he quickly looked around then back at her, his eyebrows drew together, creating a crease between them.
"You okay?" he asked.
Eden tightly grabbed him by the shoulders and gripped on them, "Kang Dae-ho, promise you won't leave my side." She told him.
His lips parted in a soft smile, barely noticeable but deeply sincere., "I wasn't planning to."
"I mean it," Her pupils dilated, the fear evident in her expression, making Daeho wonder why all of a sudden she was this nervous about the games.
"I would never leave you, Eden."
The girl gave him a small sigh before nodding, standing up from her bed and heading to Gi-hun, grabbing him by the tracksuit. "Old man, you better not die in this game." She told him with a threatening look.
He looked down at her and then eyed Young-il whose eyebrows were furrowed in confusion.
"Another dream?" He asked.
Eden rolled her eyes and let go of him, "am I wrong for thinking I might be a psychic?" She asked as she motion her finger to her head, "who knows, maybe I'm right about this." She added.
"Daeho will be fine, I'm sure." He reassured.
The young girl smiled and nodded, looking around to find Daeho staring at her, she gave him a small smile which he returned back, standing up.
"All players, please get out of bed and get ready." The woman in PA announced, "the third game will begin momentarily."
Eden let out an exhausted groan and began to anxiously grab her loose braid, her bangs falling in front of her hair. She blew them away and excused herself to go to Jun-hee who was talking to Myunggi. Being curious, she stayed hidden when she heard their voices.
"I don't need your help, now leave me alone." Jun-hee said before pushing him off and walking away.
Eden pursed her lips, forgetting why she went there in the first place, she headed to Myunggi's direction.
"Since we're now friends," he flinched when she appeared, making her smile. "I feel like honesty should be a thing..." she trailed off, making him furrow his eyebrows.
