Confront the Emperor

Anakin and Ahsoka walked in the Jedi Council Chambers. They were thankful to see Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, Yoda, and Plo Koon were there. "Are you two okay?" Obi-Wan asked.
"We're fine. Where are the others?" Anakin asked.
"Gone, they are." Yoda said.
"Mundi, Secura, Billaba... all gone." Mace said. "Palpatine did this."
"Did you come back with Maul?" Plo asked them.
"The Clones attacked him. He's alive, but he's injured. And he's free." Ahsoka told them.
"Damn it." Mace said.
"We can still fix this. We haven't lost yet." Obi-Wan said. "Palpatine doesn't know who survived."
"Obi-Wan's right. We have not lost yet, so we should fight." Windu said.
"He must be in his chambers." Anakin said. "We should go now. We should try to stop him before it's too late."
"Your apprentice should stay behind, Anakin." Mace suggested.
"Sorry, Master Windu. No dice. I'm coming too." Ahsoka said. "I can defend myself just fine."
"She's right. Plus we've been together this whole war. She goes, I go too. I go, she goes too." Anakin told them.
"Then it's settled. Lets go." Plo said. The Jedi left the Council Chambers, ready to end this madness once and for all.

The Jedi arrived at Palpatine's Quarters. The Royal Guards looked at them and Yoda used the force to shove them both into a wall. They both fell to the ground unconscious. Palpatine was not there. "Maybe some Clones saw us and Palpatine ran." Obi-Wan said.
"If so powerful he is, why would he leave?" Yoda asked. Anakin looked around the room. "Thinking of something, Skywalker?"
"I got a bad feeling about this." Anakin said. "If Palpatine is powerful and he knows it, then... maybe Palpatine—" Anakin was hit by force lightning and was thrown across the room. Anakin hit a wall and groaned. Palpatine walked out from another room, his skin now gray. "Jedi Masters. You survived." Palpatine said.
"Surprised to see us, are you, Emperor?" Yoda asked. Palpatine stepped forward, a metallic clank sounded with every step he took. All the Jedi ignited their sabers. Palpatine looked at them and shot force lightning at Yoda. Plo Koon was quick to defend, shooting electric judgement at the force lightning. Palpatine let go. Anakin stood up and ignited his saber. Mace looked over at Anakin. "Not a bad fit, Master Skywalker." He said to him.
"Thanks." Anakin nodded.
"So be it." Palpatine summoned a lightsaber from his sleeve. He ignited the red saber and jumped at them. Yoda flipped over Palpatine and began a duel with Windu helping him. Two royal guards came and the other two got up. One went to attack Obi-Wan, one went after Plo Koon, and two went after Ahsoka and Anakin. Ahsoka cut through their weapons and Anakin cut one on their hands off. Anakin used his saber to cut through the window, breaking it completely. Anakin ran to Ahsoka and he held her hand out. She grabbed it and Anakin swung her around and released her at the guards. She kicked both of them out the window. She high fived Anakin. Obi-Wan kicked a guard he was fighting down and cut him in half. Plo kicked the last one in the ribs and shot electric judgement at him, sending him out the window. Palpatine shot force lightning at Yoda, sending him back. He deflected a hit from Windu and he ran at Anakin. Ahsoka held Palpatine off for a moment, but he kicked her to the floor and used the force to throw her at a wall. Anakin and Palpatine raised their sabers over their heads and sliced downward. They both started a duel as he directed Anakin backwards. Then they locked sabers. "I gave you a chance and you spat in my face." Palaptine told Anakin.
"What chance? Your lies? The visions? You tried turning me to the dark side since the day I arrived!" Anakin said. He pushed Palpatine back but he immediately jumped back into action. Obi-Wan and Mace ran to help Anakin as they saw he was getting overwhelmed. Palpatine laid off Anakin for a second. He turned around and cut Mace Windu's hand off. Windu fell backward as he clenched his wrist and yelled in pain. Anakin tried to punch Palpatine, but he cut Anakin's lightsaber in half. The broken pieces of it fell out the window. He shot Anakin with lightning and threw him out the window. "NOOOO!!!" Ahsoka screamed. She growled and jumped back up. She reignited her sabers and got in a fight with the dark lord of the Sith. Palpatine held her off for the most part until she cut his lightsaber in half. Ahsoka jumped on Palpatine and kicked the saber parts out the window. Ahsoka stood on him with her lightsabers pointed at him. "Do it." He told her. Ahsoka was about to cut his head off. "Ahsoka, no!" Plo yelled. She turned to face him. "Don't give into your anger. You can't kill him." Plo told her. Palpatine used the force to move his chair and hit her with it. He escaped the Jedi. Yoda stood up and Plo helped Mace back up. Obi-Wan helped Ahsoka. "Anakin..." Ahsoka said as she looked out the window.
"I'm sorry, Ahsoka." Obi-Wan said. Ahsoka fell to her knees and a tear crept out her eye.

The Jedi returned to the Jedi Temple. Mace was getting a robotic hand replacement by a droid. Yoda, Obi-Wan, Plo, and Ahsoka were in the hall outside. "I'm sorry, Ahsoka." Plo said. She heard his apology, but she was still upset. Not at them, but at the world. She looked at her lightsabers. She put them back on her belt. "I'm leaving." She said.
"What?" Obi-Wan asked.
"Anakin was the only reason I stayed." Ahsoka told them. "I'm grateful for everything you gave me and I'm glad you all gave me a second chance. But Anakin is who gave me the strength to stay. Without him, my place isn't here."
"Need you, we do. To help defend the Temple." Yoda told her.
"I may have buried the hatchet after you blamed me for the bombing, but there were more instances than just that. And there were many times you took the Council code's side. This is how it is. I'm sorry." Ahsoka looked at Yoda. "Master Yoda." She bowed to him. "I assume you can give Master Windu my goodbyes." She turned to Kenobi. "Thank you Master Kenobi. For training Anakin right. I hope things go well." She turned to Plo Koon. "Master Koon, thank you for bringing me here in the first place." She stepped backward and bowed for them. "May the force be with you, my friends." She turned around and walked away.
