Eden hated waking up, but you know what she hated more? Being woken up by an alarm. A freaking alarm that could make her go deaf. And if it wasn't horrible already, when she had open her eyes, she accidentally jumped and fell out of bed when she saw Daeho staring at her.
His eyes widened immediately when she saw her fell, helping her get up as she let out a groan. He awkwardly helped her get up and with hesitation, checked for any bruises.
"I didn't mean to scare you." He mumbled nervously.
Eden yawned and shook her head, "it's okay," she said as she held her head, "I thought my nightmare was over."
Daeho raised his eyebrows with curiousness, "what—what was the nightmare about?" He asked as he stood to the girl's height, resting his back on the pole.
"I used to think me dying in my nightmares couldn't be realistic but seeing where I am now," she paused. "...it's somehow...more realistic." She nodded to herself with a scrunched up face.
The guy stared at her blankly before blinking. "You died in your dream?" He asked.
"No, you did." She told him casually.
Daeho's lips parted as a frown formed in his lips, "I did?" She nodded. "okay..." he gulped hardly. "Well, now I'm scared."
Eden raised her eyebrows and was about to add something when suddenly, Gi-hun gasped as he awoke from his bed, making the pair jump slightly.
"Nightmare, old man?" Eden asked him.
He slowly nodded as he yawned. "I feel like it's the place that's giving us the heebie-jeebies." The younger woman stated. "Wonder why." She said sarcastically.
Daeho exhaled loudly then shook his body, "I cannot wait to get out of here. I might have nightmares this time." He told them.
Everyone quickly began to form lines, which Eden hated. Gi-hun stood in front of Eden whilst Daeho stood behind her. The stairs climbing was long, too long. And to awkward to just be quiet, then Eden decided to form a conversation with the old man.
"What did you dream about?" She asked as a way of starting the conversation.
Gi-hun looked back and shook his head, "it's nothing." He told her, making her shrug with her lips. "When I have nightmares, I just tell myself that's it's crazy and that it would never happen in real life, but this time, I had a nightmare that I didn't want to believe could happen, but I know there could be a possibility because of—you know, the situation we're in. I would consider myself a psychic since it had something to do with the games—potentially— had something to do with the games." She rambled, making the old man stare at her as he now walked beside her. "Huh, maybe my nightmare will be the next game," she chuckled then dropped her smile and gulped. "That would be funny. Though, I really hope it's not." She mumbled. "It would be a terrible coincidence."
