Eden had started to hate forming lines after the guards had put them in several ones, once again. This time, they were serving a portion of food, as if they were in prison, which somehow, to Eden, it felt like one. The same tracksuits, sharing beds with everyone, having to be woken up all of a sudden. Just like a prison.

At the voting, they ended with going back to the games. Eden couldn't help but to feel a pinch of emotion when player 001 had voted for 'O', she knew his vote wouldn't have mattered anyway, it was obvious what he was going to click. She thought he was suspicious, but she thought that about all of the players. She knew not to trust anyone.

Except for Gi-hun, player 456, he could be lying about playing and winning this games before. But why would he? Why would he come back to the games that killed all of his friends? That's something that only someone that desperate for money would do, Gi-hun wouldn't. He was here for a reason.

After grabbing her portion of food, Eden followed Daeho to the bed he was sitting on. She peaked her head and gave him a smile.

"Mind a little bit of company?" She asked him.

He quickly swallowed his food and shook his head, wiping his mouth. "Not at all, come sit." He gestured to the unused space next to him.

Eden smiled and placed the food first and then climbed the small stair to the bed, she sat in crossed legs and opened her food. With a small sigh, she grabbed her fork and turned to Daeho.

"I feel dirty eating this food," she told him, playing with her fork.

Daeho stopped eating and turned to her, slowly placing down his own fork and wiping his hand on his track suit.

"You've got to eat, we don't know if they'll give us food again. Might as well eat it now." He shrugged, trying to convince her.

Eden bit her lip and sighed, "you don't think 001 voted for staying just to piss the old man off?" She asked him, he furrowed his eyebrows in confusion as he continued eating. "He was staring at him the whole time everyone was cheering. Like he was proud of voting to stay." she added.

"I hate that guy, I could be home right now." He mumbled. "I don't even care about the money anymore."

Eden's lips twitched into a smile before regaining her posture when she saw player 001 walking towards Gi-hun, she hit Daeho's arm and nodded towards him, making him turn his head around when he approached them.

"I pressed the 'O' button because of you." Player 001 told Gi-hun.

Eden narrowed her eyes at him, trying to read him.

"Honestly, I was scared. I wanted to quit and leave." He paused, "but you made me think maybe I could play just one more game."

People mumbled in agreement, making Eden stab her food and eat it aggressively. How stupid could they be?
