"Trying to escape little snake" said the dragon king. "Did you really think I would let you go that easily"
Tightening his hand on the robe beside heart little snake narrowed his eyes at the dragon.
"You..." He spoke through pain. "What have you d...
The Dragon King's body began to steam as water on him turned into vapor from the heat he was giving off.
"Are you okay?" the little snake asked nervously.
"Let me just burn this stupid house down" the Dragon King growled, moving forward.
"No", "No" , "wait" , "Dragon King" several voices shouted as others tried to hold him back.
"You can't harm mortals or destroy their property" Wen Xiao exclaimed.
"You don’t know how to deal with humans" the little snake muttered, looking at them. "Just look at yourselves. Only Wen Xiao Jie Jie looks decent. It’s obvious Ying Lei is a demon, the Pei siblings look like they’re ready for war, and there’s a kid with a box."
He then glanced down at his own clothes and sighed. "This won’t do. Let’s go to a clothing store first."

"What’s taking him so long?" the Dragon King muttered as they waited for the little snake outside the clothing store. "I’m going in to check." Just as he was about to step inside, they saw the little snake coming out.
He was wearing a loose and simple white robe with light patterns. A thin gold band rested on his forehead, and his long hair was tied back loosely with a ribbon with twoo braides on side.

"What the hell" Ying Lei said, his mouth wide open. "He looks so pure no one would believe he’s a snake."
"How do I look?" the little snake asked the Dragon King as he walked up to them. "I told them to add some makeup to make me look younger."
The Dragon King looked him up and down but didn’t say anything.
"Yi Cheng Gege, you look amazing" Pei Siheng said, making the little snake lift his chin proudly.
As they walked down the street, people began to stop and stare at the little snake, whispering to each other about how beautiful he looked. The Dragon King, however, didn’t seem as pleased. He moved closer to the little snake, placing a protective arm around his waist. He looked back dead at anyone who stared too long. A low growl rumbled in his throat, and people quickly looked away, uneasy.
"Ying Lei hit me" Little Snake said, turning to him as they reached the alley near the old lady's house.
"Really?" Ying Lei looked happier than ever. He was already rolling up his sleeves, not even asking why. But when he saw the Dragon King standing behind Little Snake, his smile froze. He quickly laughed nervously. "Ha ha, how could I hit you?"
Little Snake glanced at the Dragon King, who looked like he was about to explode.
"Calm down, will you?" Little Snake said to him.
Then he turned back to Ying Lei.
"Come on, just make it look like I'm hurt."
Ying Lei shook his head and crossed his arms. "No"
