"Trying to escape little snake" said the dragon king. "Did you really think I would let you go that easily"
Tightening his hand on the robe beside heart little snake narrowed his eyes at the dragon.
"You..." He spoke through pain. "What have you d...
"Zhu Yan... Zhu Yan..." Li Lun chanted the dragon king's name, tapping the toy drum in his hand with two crossed fingers. "You're finally out of your den. I guess it's time to greet you."

His body began to fade, turning into green leaves that floated away from the window.
"Li Lun, are you in?" Ye Yun called out as he slid the chamber door open. "Where is he?" he asked, looking around.

"Wen Xiao is right. That little one really is unpredictable" the Dragon King muttered to himself as he walked through the hallway. "He was kissing me so passionately a moment ago, but then kicked me out just because I asked for more."
As he reached the dining area, he heard the sound of children talking and laughing about some gossip.
"You know, this is why he's called a psycho" Ying Lei said with a serious expression. "He's only been out for like a hundred year, but he's already got enemies everywhere. They say he kills people and drinks their blood."
"What are you even saying?" Pei Siheng snapped, sounding upset. "Drinking blood? Are you saying Yichen gege is a vampire? You just don’t know him, he’s so kind"
"Don’t know him? Don’t know him?" Ying Lei nearly shouted, making Bai Jiu inch away from him. "I knew exactly what he was like the moment he kicked me. That wicked snake almost broke my neck"
As Ying Lei continued to rant about the little snake, Bai Jiu and Pei Siheng suddenly noticed the Dragon King standing behind him.
"Ying Lei, it’s still possible for you to get a broken neck" Pei Siheng said, laughing nervously.
"What are you talking about? I’m going to teach him a good lesson" Ying Lei said, completely missing the hint. "Just wait until he comes out of his room. I’ll make snake soup out of him." Bai Jiu shook his head vigorously, trying to warn him.
Ying Lei glanced at him in confusion, but as he turned his eyes to a nearby mirror, he caught sight of something or rather someone and felt a chill down his spine. Perhaps it was the reflection of his upcoming doom.
"I mean... I’m going to make him a good soup" Ying Lei stammered, quickly changing his story. "I bet he hasn’t even eaten anything today. He must be exhausted from all the things that happened yesterday"
The Dragon King looked him up and down, then let out a "hmph" and turned away, walking off.
“Phew” Ying Lei exhaled the breath he had been holding. “I almost lost my life in my sweet 200s.”
Pei Siheng shook his head disapprovingly. "You really can’t take a hint."
"You call that hints?" Ying Lei shot back.

"You mean we're not going back to the Dragon Valley?" the little snake asked, smiling happily.
