Anakin was in his room, his face in his hands. He was curious about how he saw that Palpatine was alive. How he saw that vision. Was it Palpatine himself sending a warning? Was it the force? He didn't know. Thinking about it made his head hurt more. "Anakin." He heard. He recognized the voice but he figured it was his mind messing with him. Then he heard it again. "Anakin." He used the force to grab his lightsaber and he ignited it. "Who's there?" He asked. He didn't see anyone. Anakin stood up and held his lightsaber in front of him. "Show yourself. Now!" Anakin demanded.
"It's me, Anakin." He heard the voice again. "The man who wished to teach you all those year ago."
"Master Qui Gon?" He said in shock as he extinguished his lightsaber he sat it down. "Where are you? H-how am I hearing you?" Anakin asked.
"Force users like you and I, we are able to learn to retain consciousness after we meet our end." He told him.
"I want to see you, Master. Can i?"
"No. My training was incomplete. But i won't be a disembodied voice for long now." Qui Gon told Anakin. "I am proud of you, Anakin. Obi-Wan said it first, you have become a more powerful Jedi than we could ever be."
"But... you saw what happened, right? If Ahsoka didn't stop me, i could have... i could have caused more problems." Anakin told him.
"But you listened to your Padawan, you trusted that she was right. And she was." He told Anakin.
"Shouldn't I be helping her instead of her helping me?"
"Well, the Padawan steps in to help the Master at times. You helped Obi-Wan during those ten years and, and you saved his life on Grievous and Dooku's ship. And Obi-Wan helped me when I trained him." Qui Gon told him. "You trained Ahsoka well, Anakin."
"Thank you, Master." Anakin said. It was silent for a few seconds. "Qui Gon? Are you there?" He asked. No voice. Qui Gon had left for now. Anakin left his room and went to find Ahsoka.
As Anakin was searching for Ahsoka, there were very few Jedi at the Temple. It seemed like after the meeting was over, everyone returned to their original missions. He spotted a few Jedi (two of them were Kenobi and Windu) but many were back to their original missions and were keeping their eyes open for Palpatine. That's when he got to the Temple's fitness room. He saw Ahsoka was in there working out. Hard. He could see the sweat dripping from her white and blue lekku (her head-tails) as she lied on her back lifting two weights. She panted as she sat up and put the weights down. Ahsoka turned around. "Hello, Master." She said. She stood up and grabbed her lightsabers from under the workout bench she was on. "How often do you come here?" Anakin asked her.
"Whenever I'm not doing anything and want to." She said. "Physical fitness is as important as the force. I'm sure I'm not the only one who works out here." She said.
"Yeah, you're not wrong there." Anakin said, admitting that he comes here sometimes too.
"Does it work the same with your right arm? You know, since you'd be using... a robot hand to lift?" Ahsoka asked.
"Yeah. While it would probably hurt to get punched by in a physical fight, a robot hand isn't any different than a regular one along the lines of lifting things." Anakin explained. Ahsoka got up and put the weights back on their racks. "So, what did you come find me for?" She asked. Anakin had almost forgotten. "I just needed to thank you... for stopping me last night. And for sticking around after everything. You're a good apprentice. And a great friend." Anakin said.
"Thank you for believing in me, Skyguy." Ahsoka said. The two left the fitness room.
It's obvious the Jedi Temple has a gym room, right?
