It was New years at the castle. Freya had slept in as she had a long day the day before. They were getting everything ready for the big countdown before she woke up.
Didyme was running around with the wife's giving orders and telling everyone off that would do anything wrong. Like put the decorations in the wrong spot. After a few mistakes... wait who am I kidding, after alot of mistakes and the queen's going made at them all the guards were scared of them even their husband's who tried to disappear only to get stopped by their growling mates.
Safe to say, they finally got it done but not without shaking just in time for Freya to wake up.
"My love." Marcus whispered, afraid to speak too loud.
"Yes, my love." Didyme turned around, smiling.
"Freya will..." Without finishing his sentence, she was gone. "Be waking soon."
Aro and Caius sniggered, looking at Marcus.
"I don't know why you finished the sentence she is not here." Aro laughter filled the air.
"I don't know myself." He said, looking to Aro and getting up to leave. "Awo."
And in a flash, he was gone. Leaving a growling Aro and a laughing Caius who fell from his throne from laughing so much.
Arriving at his room, his family shared, and he heard some of the conversation they were having.
"But I don't want to gwow old and leave you. I wish I could stay with you forever and ever, mummy." Freya said in a slightly happy but said voice.
Marcus wanted to cheer her up he never wanted his daughter to be sad, so he walked in, pretending to be sad.
"What about me?" Marcus stuck his bottom lip out, which made Freya jump from Didyme and run to Marcus.
He picked her up as she grabbed his face in both of her tiny hands and pulled him close to her face so she was looking directly into his eyes.
"And you too because I wove you and mummy so much." She kissed his nose and then leaned back, still holding his cheeks in her hands, pushing them together. "And you and mummy are the best in the whole wide word." She said with confidence as she made a hand gesture of the world.
"It's world, my sweet little princess." Marcus chuckled.
Freya put her hands on her hips with sass and smirked at Marcus.
"That's what I said, daddy-o." She added a sassy finger click to add affect the only earned her a laugh, and then Marcus started to tickle her as she laughed. "Mu...mumm...mummy he...hel...help m...meeeee."
That had started the whole save the princess mission as Didyme got ahold of her daughter running away. But quickly whispered a 'thank you' to her mate for making her laugh after she had a bad dream.
Running through the halls being chased by Marcus while their laughter bounces off the wall being heard in the throne room where they were heading.
"Oh no. Daddy is getting closer, mummy." Freya said, then laughter more as a plan popped into her timy head. "Auntie Sul, auntie Dora, help us!!" She said in a sing-song voice, knowing they would come to the rescue and as if on que they swung the doors open and Sulpicia took Freya as Athenodora for some random reason threw Didyme over her shoulder, causing everyone to burst into a fit of laughter.
"Who shall we help, brother?" Aro asked Caius as they watched with amusement.
"Well, I'll help my wife because I don't want a mad wife." Caius chuckled as he stood up.
"Happy wife equals happy life." Aro said, doing his childish giggle but stopped and frowned.
"And don't forget it." He said, then looked yo his brother smirking. "You heard it yourself then, didn't you."
"I have no idea what you are talking about." Aro playfully glared before chasing Caius as he bellowed in laughter.
The chase lasted over half an hour until Marcus pretended to hurt his foot, making Freya wiggle until she was free and ran to her daddy only to be tricked and tickled by him.
"No fare, I thought you was hurt, Daddy." She said scoldingly.
"I'm sorry, sweetheart." He said, looking down. "But I got you, didn't I." He then. Added as he looked at her before kissing her forehead.
"Yeah, you did." She admitted smiling.

Freya sat on Alec's lap as they ate their food. Freya's food was normal human food, while theirs had blood added to it. They have now started to eat food like normal but added blood. It made them look more human. Their eyes were the colour they used to be as humans, which shocked them when they looked in or passed a mirror. (Caius screeched like girl when he saw his eyes. Due to him always making sure his hair was perfect)
"It's almost time, my little star." Didyme reminded her daughter, who looked to Alec in excitement as she bounced on his knee laughing.
"Yay!" Freya cheered, making everyone smile at her cuteness.
"Come on with your mates..." She looked around the room smiling. "Or friends."
Freya ran to Didyme as she picked her up.
"Ready?" She asked.
"Weady." Freya replied with a large smile.
"5." Didyme and Freya called out.
"4." The brothers called.
"3." The guard said.
Everyone got ready in a running stance, looking at each other with smiles.
"2." The wife's called together.
"1." Everyone called in sync.
"Happy New Year!!!!" Freya yelled as they all took off.
They all ran to the doors and windows and opened them, and went back to the throne room. Some of the guards are still confused why they had to open the doors and windows around the castle.
Freya, seeing this spoke up in joy.
"We did it to let the old year out and the new year in." She smiled, and Didyme joined in.
"That's right, my little star." She then looked around before adding. "Out with the old and in with the new."
Everyone cheered while Freya yawned.
"Aww, looks like your bed time now, my little princess." Marcus said as he looked at his daughter, taking her into his arms.
"Nooooo~" She started to say until her head hit his shoulder, snoring immediately, making Marcus smile, and Didyme giggle.
"She really was tired." Didyme stated softly. "Let's take her to bed."
With a nod, they went to leave but were stopped by everyone who kissed her head, saying goodnight.
"This year will be good." Aro said as Caius looked at him.
"Don't jinx up..." he walked over to his wife, grabbing her hand with a smirk. "Awo." He said, running off with his wife laughing.
Aro growled before shouting after them.
"ITS ARO."
His wife looked at him before she burst into laughter, running back to her room being chased by Aro.
The guards all went their own way laughing.
