Bring The Balance: An Anakin and Ahsoka Star Wars Story

This Isn't Over

The Jedi Council managed to get an in person meet up. Mace Windu stood in the middle of the room. "Chancellor Palpatine was the Sith Lord we were looking for; Darth Sidious." Mace told them.
"An unwise decision, you made yesterday, Windu." Yoda said. "If you called a meeting, maybe Tiin, Kolar, and Fisto would still be alive."
"Master Yoda's right, Mace. All four of you could have died and it would be a poor image on us if he went to trial." Plo Koon told him.
"I know. But in the moment, it was the best decision. We were already on the way to make sure he would return emergency powers to The Senate. Had we not known, he could've had the upper hand." Mace told them.
"And who was it that informed you about it?" Obi-Wan Kenobi asked Windu.
"Skywalker." He said. Anakin was half awake, but the mention of his surname woke him up completely. "Young Skywalker, stand. Master Windu, sit." Yoda said. Mace sat down in his chair and Anakin stood up. He went to the center of the room. "Masters." He said.
"Anakin, how did you find out Chancellor Palpatine was evil?" Kenobi asked him.
"During some of my visits with him, there were signs until he finally told me he was yesterday." Anakin told them.
"What signs?" Yoda asked. Anakin stood there thinking until the most obvious one crossed his mind. "Have you ever heard of The Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise?" Anakin asked. He felt kind of like Palpatine in the moment. "He mentioned the Sith Legend to me a day or so before he fully decloaked."
"Tell anyone else of this legend, did you?" Yoda asked. Anakin hesitated to give an answer. However, he figured it was best to tell them everything. "Not directly. I never mentioned the name of the legend or the Sith, but i did mention I knew of the legend. I told Ahsoka." He said.
"Perhaps he should bring her here?" Ki Adi Mundi suggested.
"She backed Anakin up yesterday when I asked if he was sure about The Chancellor. Yes. Bring her in, Skywalker." Mace told him. He bowed and left the Council Chambers.

Anakin walked to another room with a large window and saw Ahsoka asleep on the room's couch. Ahsoka seemed to regularly fall asleep in this room recently. Anakin went to put his hand on her shoulder again, but he heard her mumbling in her sleep again. However, unlike last time when it seemed like she was having a friendly conversation, this time she seemed scared. Anakin rubbed the back of his hand on her forehead. She had light sweat on it. He placed his hand on her shoulder and gently shook her, waking her up again. "You okay? Again, mumbling in your sleep, but you seemed to be more afraid this time." Anakin asked.
"Some fight i was in must've crossed my mind." Ahsoka said. Then Anakin felt a little guilty about last night. He took a step back as Ahsoka stood up and stretched. "So what am i being woken for this time, Skyguy?"
"The Council wants me to bring you to talk about last night." He told her.
"Oh no. Are we in trouble?" Ahsoka asked.
"No. They just want the full story." Anakin told her. She exhaled out her nose and placed her hands on her hips after rolling her shoulders back. "Alright, let's go." She said. The two left the room.

Anakin and Ahsoka walked in the Council Chambers. "Sorry we had called for you, Ahsoka." Plo Koon told her. "Can you tell us anything else about last night? About Palpatine?"
"Oh, gosh. I didn't know anything about him. All i knew was he told Anakin about some legend. Anakin never mentioned the name. We started theorizing that there was a Sith in The Senate, but we never thought it was him." She told them.
"Thank you, Ahsoka." Windu said. "Now, Skywalker. It's your turn." Anakin raised an eyebrow. "As i stated, I am a man of my word. You have earned my respect and the rank of Master." He told Anakin. Ahsoka was overjoyed to see her master get the title he deserved and Anakin smiled. "Thank you, Master Windu." Anakin said with a smile across his face.
"And... after your first encounter with Dooku, Obi-Wan told us your habit of losing your lightsabers." Mace told him. He pulled out another lightsaber.
"You didn't have to spoil him, Windu." Kenobi said in a joking way with a smirk.
"You should be getting a gold medal for this." Ahsoka commented.
"Thank you, Master Windu." Anakin took the lightsaber. "Thank yo-AAAUGH!!" Anakin stopped mid sentence and let out a yell. He fell to his knees and grabbed his head. All the Jedi in the room stood up, Kenobi ran to him and Ahsoka went down with him and put her arm over his chest. "Anakin! Are you okay?" Ahsoka asked. Anakin's hands left his head and went to the floor. Obi-Wan crouched down. Anakin looked up and his eyes went from orange to his normal blue. "What happened?" Obi-Wan asked.
"I saw something... a-a vision." He said as Ahsoka and Obi-Wan helped him back up. "Palpatine... he's still alive." Anakin told them.
"Impossible! I sliced him in half, he's dead." Windu stated.
"He survived." Anakin said. "Master Windu won that fight, but this war isn't over yet."
