"Whoa!" I whispered, but Antonio heard me anyway, we both were sitting in the backseat and Tristan was in the passenger seat while Valentino was driving the car. We were on our way to the bank.
Last night when I saw Eiffel tower it was beautiful but when I saw it in broad daylight, it took my breath away. It was so high that I could see the top of the tower from every corner of Paris.
I wanna go there. I thought.
I shook my head.
"Don't worry we'll come back when everything will be okay." Antonio whispered in my ear and took my hand.
I looked at him and smiled.
I didn't know what was happening between us. I already liked him.
Ughh!! Ask him later, my subconscious said.
I looked out of the window again.
"Ohmigod!! It's so beautiful." I said, admiring the beauty of the most famous church of Paris.
"That's Notre Dame de Paris." Antonio said.
"It is a historic cathedral on the eastern half of Paris, France. The cathedral is widely considered to be one of the finest examples of, and it is among the largest and most well-known in the world." Valentino explained. I looked at the church in awe.
"Awwwhh!! I want to visit all the famous places like this." I said and pouted.
"Oh poor baby! Don't worry you and Antonio can visit here on your honeymoon." Tristan said and laughed.
I choked on my saliva.
"W-what?" I said, my face red as tomato.
Antonio slapped Tristan's head.
"Shut the fuck up man!!" Antonio said. Valentino and Tristan continued to laugh. Antonio rolled his eyes and winked at me.
I blushed again. I cleared my throat and continued looking out of the window.
"We are here." Valentino informed after some time, stopping the car in a parking lot.
The building was so modern.
BNP PARIBAS was written with golden letters with some star symbol around one side of it.
"Wow." I said when I got out of the car. Antonio came by my side and took my hand. I smiled inwardly.
We walked into the building. Valentino gave that certificate and key to a man.
The roof of the bank was silver and it really -really looked modern, smooth cushioned chairs and stools, tables were there. It was so big. And there was silence. It was busy; so many people were there but still there was not that much of noise.
"Come on. Only two people can go." Antonio's voice snapped my attention.
We followed the man; he was bald and was in his late thirty's. He wore round glasses and a brown suit. We entered in a glass elevator. The man pressed the 6th floor. When we reached our destination the door opened with a swooshing sound and we got out of the elevator. There were so many small lockers, like thousands of them. He took us to our locker that was 6024.
"Here ma'am, sir. You have 30 minutes and I'll be waiting for you outside." He said and left.
I took a deep breath and opened the locker. It slid out as a drawer. There was a Manila folder. I took it out and opened it. There were so many papers.
Antonio was standing behind me, I could feel his breath on my neck.
"That's it." he breathed.
"It's one of the proofs?" I was confused.
He nodded and smiled.
There was something else in the folder but I put the papers back and sealed it and locked back the locker.
"Let's go." I said with a victorious smile on my face.
