I chuckled but before I could speak – which would have been an acception – another voice did. "I don't think that's a very good idea," Mathew chimes in, humor to his words even though they had this serious lacing.

"Nobody asked what you thought, now did they?" I shot back at him.

He narrows his eyes at me, "You've seen how he parties. Trying to outdrink him is impossible."

"That sounds like a challenge," I smirked. He opened his mouth to say something and I raised my hands in the air, "Let's get some shots!"

Why does she never fucking listen?

There were filled up shots all over the plastic table, thirty for each of them. Ashley didn't look phased in the slightest. The worst thing, nobody who could actually stop her was doing anything. Robin was too drunk to back out and her brother, the asshole, was just sitting there, drinking his own drink and watching with a small grin. Why the fuck wasn't he stopping her? He should be worried about her, especially after seeing how far Robin will go.

"Ashley, I really don't think you should be doing this," Ruby warned but Ashley waves her off.

"This is gonna be awesome," Maya grins and I shot her a glare, a growl almost rolling off my tongue full force. Robin decides to start of course and quickly downs his, then Ashley follows. She didn't even react as the liquid went down her throat.

Things quickly sped up, the two of them matching each other and easily taking them down. It was going so fast that nobody seemed to know how to react. Then Robin grabs five of his and downs them one after the other, "Beat that!"

Ashley chuckled and then I watched as she grabbed one shot after the next, placing them to her lips and tossing them back. Ten shots went down, her slamming each empty shot glass down on the table, "Easy."

There was a moment of silence, Robin staring at her as he swayed back and forth even though he was sitting on the ground. Then he gives in, falling backwards and resting against Kile's legs, both of them wincing from the impact.

"We have a new champion!" Tyler – who must have come along with the crowd that had formed around us – shouts. Ashley just laughs before grabbing her three final shot glasses and tossing the liquid back like it was nothing.

I couldn't even understand how her, a human, was able to do that and not be vomiting her guts out. Looking at Robin, I noticed that he looked close to doing just that. He was laying in the grass, eyes shut and a scrunched up expression likely regretting his life choices.

Ashley pushes up to her feet, laughing at his position before wandering over to me and my jaw literally hit the ground when she didn't sway in the slightest.

She smacked my leg lightly, signaling for me to move it. At first, she just dropped down on the edge of the seat but then I wrapped an arm around her, pulling her into me. She shot me a playful glare but didn't move and it made the biggest smile ever surface on my lips.

Why was I acting like this?

My eyes then shift over to her brother, watching me with a dangerous look. I gave him a smirk, pulling her closer and even debated flipping him off. The last thing I needed though was him getting all pissy and forcing her to go home – not that she'd likely listen to him though.

Robin must have gotten through his drunkenness because his body shoots up and he slurs, "We should play a game where everyone tells each other embarrassing stories!"

Ruby chuckles, "I don't really think that is a good idea for you considering some of the things that you do."

"Ha, ha. But my dear, those things don't embarrass me," he says, raising a finger and wagging it at her.
