The Justice League's Javelin Jet soared through the air on route to the Hall of Justice. Bruce sat upfront piloting the luxury ship. On the screen in front of him was his trusty butler Alfred Pennyworth. The greying Batman spoke to his old friend about their recent victory.
Alfred: I see that all went astonishingly well, Master Bruce.
Bruce: Lex's android was destroyed. Luthor's facing a long prison sentence. He's in custody as we speak.
Alfred: Then I guess a celebration is in order. I'll prepare the Hall for your return.
Bruce: I'm not really one for parties, but I guess it'd be good for the rest of the team to celebrate.
Alfred: And for you as well, sir. A good deal of socializing out of your pointed suit will do you good.
Bruce grinned at his comment.
Bruce: Thanks, Alfred. We'll be there soon.
Alfred nodded and the screen shut off. Diana was behind Bruce. She grinned at seeing the old man's interactions with his good friend and father figure. The Amazon turned around and walked back further into the jet. She passed Clark and Victor who had switched out into more casual clothing. Clark was wearing a white button up shirt over jeans while Victor had zipped up a red sweatshirt over his body. The two were leaning back in a set of comfy leather armchairs. A flatscreen TV was placed in front of them with the news talking about the Justice League's latest battle.
Reporter: And thanks to the work of the Justice League, Metropolis is once again safe from peril. Notorious criminal mastermind Lex Luthor is now facing yet another fifteen year prison sentence and will be forced to participate in community service to clean up our fair city. In further news, the Flash and Cyborg's recent charity event managed to gross over two million dollars this weekend. The proceeds of this event will be going to those in both Metropolis and Central City who are in need of aid after the recent attack from the android as well as the metahuman crisis from a few months ago...
As the news continued talking, Clark turned to Victor.
Clark: Did you catch the game last Saturday?
Victor: The Cougars versus the Rogues? Sheesh, man. That was a blowout! 54 to 16! Gotham never stood a chance.
Both men chuckled at the end results of the game.
Clark: Guess Central City came to play.
Victor: Man, with the attack in February, the whole city seems to have grown a bit in pride. Where you there during the game?
Clark: Yeah. Lois and I thought it'd be a good chance to get out, take Jon to a proper game after so long. You?
Victor: Nah. I was in Tokyo at the time. Tapped into the live feed cameras and watched from there.
A little further towards the back of the jet, Y/N was standing in a small kitchenette. He was chewing on one of his specially designed energy bars and was in the process of making a smoothie. Y/N put in the fruit, ice, and yogurt that he liked. He then plugged the blender in and pressed the start button. It was only on for a moment before sputtering out.
Y/N looked at the blender with a crooked brow. He tried to start it again but got no response. Thinking no one else was nearby, Y/N put his finger into the smoothy jar and began to spin it around at high speeds, stirring the smoothie himself.
It didn't take long for the contents inside to get evenly blended. Y/N took his finger out and licked the fruit juices off his finger. He then brought the jar up and drank from it. It was smooth. However, unbeknownst to Y/N, someone else had seen him perform the task.
