I drive up to the Petrov estate, the gates opening as I roll up and I take myself right up to the front doors, facing the back of the SUV towards the house. They were there, all of Isiah's most trusted men but Isiah was no where to be seen.

Arabella held the leashes to the large cane corsos and I can't help but smirk as i get out of the car.

Arabella was a pain in my damn ass. She was like the rat that never scurried away, a pest that sticks around making home where it didn't belong. She had a personal vendetta against me and I didn't know why until I realized her best friend was madly in love with my husband. That's her problem, that her bestie isn't her sister in law.

I fling the car door open and walk around the back, popping open the trunk and gesturing towards the guards.

"It was quite the struggle but I managed"

They stared at me like I was some sadistic freak... maybe I am. I should look into it, i heard that sadism and sex does wonders.  A real outfit.

"What the fuck is that? Where are they?" Ava snarled. I had never seen hate in her eyes, at least not directed towards me.

"I'm not entirely sure as to whom you're referring to. These are the only people in my possession" I turn sideways, patting one of the mens backs.

"LIAR!" Nikolai shout at me, standing behind his father who holds him by the sleeve. Vasili Petrov was not a man who cared for anyone besides his family. In fact, this was the first time he's ever made eye contact with me, so imagine the skepticism i felt when he spoke to me.

"We don't want trouble Solokov. I just want my kids back" I cock my head at him. He didn't speak to many people directly, at least not that I've seen. He was a family man through and through and I have to admit, I admire him. His love for his wife, the absolute devotion they have for one another. The way he parents his children, they all look up to him and that speaks volumes in the silence. He was a role model for all of them, a real father. I have to say, I'm kind of jealous.

"Well Petrov, I'm not sure what your talking about, therefore i kindly deny whatever accusation you've all built against me" I stand straight, stepping to the side of the car, out of the way, and shutting the trunk.

"Katiya..." Sophia emerges from behind her husband, tears in her eyes as she comes to stand in the front line with her daughters and Zoya, "I can't blame you for this whole mess, my son cares for you deeply and I will respect you because of that, but please. Give me back my kids"

I stare at her, an eyebrow raised, i was simply out of the loop and I don't like that. It was the tell tale sign that this has something to do with me.

"I respect you as well Sophia, you have a beautiful family, you are an admirable woman. I don't know what you're talking about though. Truly." I shrug

"Don't lie to us" A thick voice rung out and I turn back to Vasily Petrov, his jaw tense and his eyes dark. He sits tall in his wheelchair but that the problem, I don't exactly feel intimidation by a man who can't even stand and come after me, "Where is Isiah and Anya" His tone gets demanding and I can only laugh at it. Who does he think he's talking to? Do I look like one of his men? Does he take me for someone who would cower at his name?

Not a lot of people understand this, but the most dangerous people, are the ones who have nothing. I have nothing, but him, he has so much that i could use against him. The stare he was giving me, one full of challenge made me want to do just that. Take everything to prove just how little he is.

"Do you take me for a fool? If i had them I would have played my cards much better. They are worth more then two dogs. People offer more money that I ca comprehend, all the money in the world. Hell, you and your entire family are wanted, dead or alive" A sick feeling twisted in my stomach even as I said it. Isiah and Anya were missing... well isn't that something.
