SYNOPSIS:

GENRE: Historical drama, Romance, Action
SYNOPSIS:

In the early 1900s, in the heart of a Nigerian sovereign Kingdom, Oba Alatere and his wife, Adebisi, are desperate to solidify their legacy amidst the kingdom's politics. Still, despite how many times they try, the Olori never gets pregnant.

As a last-ditch effort, Adebisi persuades her husband to go in with her lady maid, Omotola. The plan is that when Omotola gives birth, they will take the baby and pay her off.

At first, Oba Alatere doesn't want this, but Adebisi convinces him. She reminds him they are surrounded by hawks and vultures who would not hesitate to take the throne from them. He eventually agrees, and two months later, Omotola takes in.

But the gods have a sense of humor.

Shortly after Omotola conceives, Adebisi finds herself pregnant too. What begins as a calculated solution quickly spirals into chaos as jealousy, betrayal, and unchecked ambition consume the palace. Omotola, once a pawn in the Queen's game, becomes a rival, while Oba Alatere's heart strays dangerously close to the maid.

They both deliver sons ten months later, and Adebisi convinces Alatere to send Omotola away with her "bastard" child. Forced against the wall, Alatere turns his back on Omotola and her son, sending them to a faraway land.

Thirty years later, the Kingdom is in the middle of a war, but nothing threatens Alatere more than the slow decay of his bloodline. His son, Adeyemi, is weak and unable to lead, and the enemies are closing ranks, threatening to take the throne.

With his back against the wall, he's forced to reach out to a child he's only watched from the shadows for thirty years —one that has grown into a man of great power and might, a warrior and a representation of the youthful strength of his father.

Ekunyemi is torn. He resents the Kingdom for turning its back on his mother, but he can't resist the call of duty. The fate of the kingdom—and his father—rests on his shoulders, and he must return to right the wrongs.

Throw in the beautiful Princess Omolara from the ruthless neighboring kingdom of Ifejin, and Ekunyemi finds himself warring not only on the battlefield but against his heart.

This is a grappling tale of power, betrayal, identity, and redemption.
