"I'm sorry for everything, Ahsoka." Anakin said to her. "They're asking you back. I'm asking you back." Anakin showed her the Padawan braid he held onto. Ahsoka closed his hand and looked up at him. His face showed regret. "I'm sorry, master. But I'm not coming back." Ahsoka turned and left the Council Chambers. Anakin followed after her.
"Ahsoka, wait!" Anakin called to her as he ran after her. She turned around to him at the exit of the Jedi Temple. He ran up to her. "Why are you doing this?" He asked.
"The Council didn't trust me, so how can i trust myself?" Ahsoka asked.
"What about me? I believed you, i stood by you." Anakin told her.
"And I'm grateful for that, but this isn't about you. I can't stay here any longer, not now." She said.
"The Jedi Order is your life, you can't throw it away like this." Anakin said. "This is a mistake. I understand what needs to happen, you need to sort things out alone. I understand that more than you realize. But you can do that here." He added. Ahsoka started walking away. "Please don't go. You've been helping me on this journey as much as I've been helping you. Give it one more chance. Give me another chance. You know how much I trust you. Don't leave it all behind yet." He told her. Ahsoka stopped as Anakin let out a sigh. "Okay. I get it." Anakin said. "I'm sorry." Ahsoka turned around as Anakin looked down at the ground. She was willing to give him another chance. She started running back to him. Anakin looked up and she ran to him. She stopped in front of him. "Please, don't let me be wrong about this. I'm still sorting this out alone, but i think you on the sidelines cheering me on will make it easier." Ahsoka told him.
"If this happens again and you go, I'm going too." Anakin told her. He held out the Padawan braid. She took it this time and smiled. The two returned inside the building. "Ahsoka." She heard from Anakin.
"Yeah?" She asked.
"Ahsoka." He said again. Ahsoka looked at him confused and felt a hand on her shoulder.
Ahsoka woke up in a chair. She saw Anakin in front of her, his hand on her shoulder. "Good, you're awake. You okay? You were mumbling a bit in your sleep." Anakin asked her.
"Yeah, just dreaming. How did the council meeting go, Skyguy?" She asked as she rubbed her eyes. Anakin took a seat next to her. "I'm on the Council, but I'm not yet a Master." He said. "It's unfair. It's gotta be Obi-Wan, he's still holding me back."
"No, I'm sure Obi-Wan has probably been trying to get you on the Council for some time." Ahsoka told him. "You're still my Master. And thats good enough."
"You never wanted an actual Jedi Master to teach you?" Anakin asked her.
"No. You're what I could've asked for." Ahsoka told him. Anakin sighed. "You know, since you tried so hard to prove you were not guilty for the bombing, you're probably a better Jedi than most of us. Maybe you could become a Chosen One in time." He told her.
"Thank you." She said.
