I didn't even bother flying home after Bahrain, I was given the option to just go straight to Saudi Arabia and I took it up.

It's the quicker and easier option so I might as well- I don't mind missing two days in France. I'm pretty sure most drivers are going straight there too.

I know Lando is anyway.

Because he's sitting across from me on the plane.

"Could you stop that?" I ask with a small and fake smile on my face. "Please."

I'm trying to be nice to him- then maybe he will be nice to me back.

He continues his obsessive tapping on the table in between us as he glances up at me.

"Stop what?"

I give him a look. He knows what he's doing.

He looks back to whatever he is watching on his iPad when I don't give him a response.

I roll my eyes at him when he keeps tapping his fingers.

I look back down at my laptop that's playing modern family just as it turns off.

As if my morning couldn't get worse.

I close the laptop, a little agressive- so agressive that Lando glances at me with slightly wide eyes.

I look out the window, my face probably radiating my annoyance.

"Do you not charge your things before a plane?" He asks confused with a laugh.

"I- I was using it earlier this morning." I sigh out annoyed at myself for draining the battery and not making sure it was charged.

"Don't you have anything downloaded on your phone?" He asks looking genuinely confused now.

"No." I admit as I roll my eyes, already sensing his reaction.

"You're kind of an idiot."

"Yeah." I mumble, annoyed that he's kind of right.

I take my AirPods out because they are also about to die. Curse my luck.

It's a 2 and a half hour flight but it's only been 20 minutes which means I have over two hours of doing absolutely nothing.

I look out the window aimlessly for a few minutes.

"Are you really just going to stare out the window and do nothing for two hours?" Lando asks taking out one of his earphones- snapping me out of my daze.

"Nothing else to do." I mutter "I'll probably die of boredom before the flight ends."

He's silent for a moment so I go back to looking out the window at literally nothing.

"Do-" I glance at him when he pauses "Do you want to watch something on here." He gestures to his iPad and I slightly widen my eyes at his sudden burst of kindness.

"Uh, sure- yeah."

We stare at each other for a moment before i stand up to sit in the seat next to his.

He moves the iPad to be more in the middle and close enough so that I can see what's playing.

He clicks off it and starts showing me what he has downloaded.

"I have finding nemo, jumanji and kingsman." He lists a few  as he scrolls and shows me.

"Oh, you can just play whatever was playing before." I say feeling bad that he's changing it for me.
