Once the Cullens left with Bella, the three Kings headed to their private library with Freya in Marcus' arms.
As they were heading there, they kinda forgot that Freya was still only a child and a human too, but just as they arrived, all you could hear was laughter erupting from Freya.
"Can we do it again? Pwease." Freya gave puppy eyes to Marcus, and he smiled.
"Of course, my sweet princess."
Earning an excited squeal from the small girl as she is placed on the floor to walk with Marcus. As her feet hit the floor, her legs went to jelly. Marcus, seeing this, went to lift her up when she was suddenly gone, making him panic and look around frantically before hearing his brother and new daughter laughing as he did laps in the library.
"You would think after 4000 years he would grow up a little bit." Marcus' brother said in slight annoyance he should have seen this coming.
"Your one to speak, brother." Marcus sniggered as he received a glare.
A few seconds later, the two returned to Marcus with smiles on their faces. Once back in Marcus's arms, Freya grabbed his face, still giggling and brought his forehead to hers and squished his cheeks, and spoke in excitement.
"Uncle Caius is awesome. Did you see how fats we were going? Did you see?"
Marcus laughed at her excitement and nodded while she still had a firm hold on his face.
"Yes, sweet girl, I did."
In the background, Aro stood sulking as he mumbled.
"I'm the funner uncle."
Caius, heared that laughed again.
"Oh, don't look so down, brother. I told you I was the better uncle." Caius smirked at his brother knowing he doesn't like to loose and now Freya was in the middle and boy was she going to be spoiled by her uncles and aunties seen as they are just as competitive as their mates.
As if being summoned clicking of two vampire women caught their attention and they gulped because they hadn't told them about the child, and the men knew how much they loved children. Looking to one another, Freya sees their looks and tilts her head.
"Why are you scared?" She said in a small voice.
As Marcus was about to say something, the door swung open, and the wifes walked in.
"I heard a child." Aros' wife spoke up in excitement as she bounced on her feet.
"My lo..." Aro began but was cut off by Caius' mate.
"Not. A. Word. We are only here to see the child, not you."
Caius and Aro looked offended by this, but their mates shrugged it off. Marcus was trying so hard not to laugh but failed as a snigger left, and then a full-blown bellow laughter echoed around the room. All heads turned to him in shock it had been so long since they heard that laugh. The wife's smiled as they saw he was coming back to life. Becoming the old Marcus, they knew and missed so dearly.
Once Marcus finished laughing, he placed Freya down and pointed to the ladies.
As she waddled over to them, they awwed and got down to her level. When she reached them she smiled.
"Hi, I'm Freya, and I have short-term memory loss." The sweetness in her voice had everyone turning to goo. "You're both really, really pretty. I like your eyes."
"Aww, she is the cutiest baby ever." Caius' wife squeeled. "You are the most beautiful little girl I have ever seen. I your Auntie Athenodora. I'm also Uncle Caius' wife."
"He's the bestest uncle ever." Freya said with a smile and hugging the women as she smiled over at Sulpicia, who frowned a bit.
Taking the girls' attention, earning a glare from Athenodora.
"I am your auntie Sulpicia, and I'm Aro's wife."
The little girl looked shocked and looked to Aro and then back to Sulpicia and waddled closer. Moving Sulpicia's hair slightly and whispering to her.
"Really?"
Everyone looked at her, holding their laugh in, but when she tilted her head looking confused and then looking between the couple, that was when the laughter started quietly while Aro looked slightly offended.
"Yes, really." Sulpicia replied only to receive a small. "Oh" from the little girl.
"What's wrong with me?" Aro asked.
"Nothing. She is just really pretty. Like an angel." Freya said with a smile as she waddled to him as he sat on the chair. "Hug will make it all better." She reached her arms out to him, and he didn't hesitate to pick her up.
After a moment of the others watching Freya spoke up again.
"Better?"
"Yes, thank you, dear." Aro said with a gentle smile.
"Your welcome uncle awo." While the others awwed, Aro looked at the little girl and thought he could help her learn his name properly, so he spoke softly.
"Aro."
"Awo."
"No. Aro."
"Awo."
Soft sniggers came from the others who watched from their seats in amusement.
"Ahhhh."
"Ahhhh."
"Row."
"Row."
"Now we put it together, and we get. Aro. You try."
"Awo."
"Ok, I'm going to point to the others, and you tell me what they are called, ok?" With a nod, he started to point.
"Uncle Caius. Auntie Sulpicia. Auntie Athenodora. And daddy."
"Ok, now, what is my name?"
"Uncle Awo." She said with pride and a smile. Just before Aro dropped his head on the table , the others laughed from their seats. "Uncle Awo?" Freya asked in concern. When he didn't move, her bottom lip trembled thinking she did something wrong, so she started to climb up to his lap again and hugged his neck with her arms as her little legs went around his waist. "Don't be mad. I wove you."
Smiling to himself, he hugged her back. Giving the others a smirk and stuck his tongue out at his brothers and sister in law. Making sure she doesn't see.
When he pulled away and smiled at her, Freya just looked at him blankly. Marcus, sensing the shift, got to Freya and smiled at her.
"Hi, I'm Freya." She said smiling but before she got to finished she stopped when the smiles fell. She looked around, and her lip started to tremble again. "Did I forget again?" She said with tears in her eyes as she looked to Marcus.
"It's ok, honey. We all forget sometimes." Marcus told her as he picked her up. "No need to cry, my little one. How about I take you to your room and we can watch a film. How does that sound?"
A smile broke out on her face as she nodded rapidly. "Yes, pwease daddy."
A warm feeling filled Marcus as she called him daddy. They left with a quick wave.
"Well, Awo, it is getting late. I shall be heading to my and my wife's chambers. Bye. AWO." With that, Caius and Athenodora left giggling.
"I'm never going to live that down now, am I love." Aro asked his wife.
"Unfortunately for you now, you will now." She pecked his cheek as she turned away from facing him. "Awo."
With that, she left, and Aro slammed his head to the table again, making cracks appear on the table. As he looked at the cracks, he sighed and then left the room.
"It's Aro. Not Awo."
