After stepping into the dark alley, the little snake glanced around to ensure he was alone. He pulled a whistle from his robe and blew into it. Though no sound could be heard, the vibrations rippled silently through the air.
"Greetings young master" A man appeared behind the little snake, kneeling down respectfully. The little snake turned around facing the man. "Get up" he said.

Mo yun - A snake demon Lader of the shadow guards of the snake tribe.
"Young master, are you okay? You disappeared after entering the dragon valley, you said not to act until your orders.. so... " Mo yun said worrying.
"I.." The little snake let out a sigh. "I got caught by the dragon king" he briefly explained the situation to Mo yun.
"You risked your life for the ice flower why did you give it to a useless plant" Mo yun stated.
"Every life is important" The little snake said.
"But..." Mo yun tried to oppose.
"Leave it We don't have much time. The dragon king is nearby." The little snake said. "I need you to find something for me....."
"I'll look into it young master" Said the mo yun after little snakes instructions. "How long do you plan to stay in dragon valley"
"I need to recover from my injuries. His dragon power can suppress phoenix power." Said the little snake. "After the recover I must find a chance to get rid of him"
"You are not going to do it by yourself are you" Mo yun asked panicked. "Let me prepare our men"
"Even if I recovered attacking him by myself will be a suicide" Said the little snake. "And attacking him together won't make any difference either. We need to wait till the right chance."
Mo yun nodded understanding.
"Young master, about the tribe..." he hesitated.
"What is it?" The little snake asked.

The little snake sneaked back into the inn. Dragon king said he'd be back in two hours so he made sure to come back before him.
He slowly opened the door stepping into the room only to be taken aback by the sight of dragon king sitting in the bed with jade pendent in his hand looking furious. 'I'm dead' The little snake thought.
"Where did you go?" The dragon king asked still looking down at the pendent on his hand.
"I... I..." The little snake stuttered. "I went for a walk"
"You were about to faint and then you suddenly felt good and went for a walk." Dragon king said standing up.
"Well it's all thanks to your power.. ha ha" little snake said nervously.
"I told you to stay here and keep the jade pen...." Feeling familiar demonic aura around little snake dragon king stopped talking. Taking long steps he went near to the little snake. The little snake startled, quickly backed up, hitting the wall with its back.
"Who did you meet with" grabbing little snake by both of his shoulders the dragon king asked.
'How did he find out?' Little snake thought. 'There's no way he can feel mo yuns demonic energy or smell. Shadow guards use a special powder to hide their tracts and we didn't even make any physical contact. Could it be...?' He suddenly remember the strange demon he ran into.
"Ah.. " the little snake said. "I bumped into a strange demon. Maybe he's a shape shifter. He was a middle aged man but suddenly turn into a handsome young man"
With that dragon king tightened the grip on little snakes sholders. 'It's him indeed probably possessing someone. He must have used the truth eye to show little snake his true appearance.' he thought.
"I told you to stay here until I come back, didn't I?" the dragon king said looking dangerously at the little snake. "When I tell you to do something you better do it as the way I asked. This is the first and last time I forgive you. There better be no next time. Is it clear?"
The little snake didn't say anything just looked at him.
"I asked" the dragon king stated again getting no answer from the little snake. "Is it clear"
"Yes" The little snake made a small sound.
"Did he touch you?" The dragon king asked. The little snake nodded slowly. "No wonder you reek of him. Go take a bath" The dragon king said letting go of his shoulders.
"What? Now? Here?" Little snake asked surprised.
"Or else there is a bathtub behind the room. Go"
"I don't want to take a bath in an inn" the little snake said. "I'll bath once we go back"
"Do you want me to drag you to the bathtub and personally wash you" The dragon king asked angrily.
"Fine" the little snake said glaring at him and went to take a bath.
"Stupid little snake I was worried if I had to go too far to get medicine he'd be in pain" The dragon king said looking at the pendant after the little snake went to the bath. "But he just tricked me to sneak out. And even bumped into that stupid tree."
Actually the little snake does not have to be within 10 miles of radiance with the dragon king as long as he has something containing dragon king spiritual power with a special cast he casts indicating his presence.
And the dragon king sternly believes this information is totally unnecessary for the little snake.
