Alexandra's Pov.

I awake to the sound of my alarm, I hit snooze and fall back asleep for 10 more minutes before it goes off again. I turn my alarm off and get out of bed, and decide to get ready for my first day of my junior year.

I curl my long blonde hair and put on a little bit of make-up. I decide to wear floral leggings, a black long sleeve shirt with a floral scarf, and slip on my white combat boots.

I grab my backpack and head downstairs. I see that Ryder is still asleep, like usual, and dad is in the kitchen. He is reading the paper and drinking his coffee, like usual, as well. I go into the kitchen.

"Morning dad!" I say as I grab a banana from the counter.

"Well, good morning sweetheart. How did you sleep?" He asks as he looks down from his paper.

"Pretty well. Just a little nervous about my first day, and cheer tryouts later." I say as I peel my banana.

"Well, don't be to nervous, you'll be amazing, just be yourself." He says as gets up and puts his coffee cup in the sink.

He comes over kisses my on my forehead, after he puts on his coat, grabs his brief case and heads out the door.

I finish my banana, throw away the skin and head to school.

I get out of the office and hold my schedule trying to figure out were my first hour is.

I wander threw the crowed hallways and I try to my way to Geometry, but since the hallways are crowed to the max, I have no idea where I am going.

I hear the bell ring and the halls suddenly start to empty. I am eventually left in an empty hallway lost.

I start to panic. I have never been late to a class. Never. I don't want to start today. So I look at my school map and figure it out that way.

I end up getting to geometry, I walk in and everyone in the class looks directly at me like I just killed six people.

"Your late." The teacher says.

"I am so sorry. I am new and I kinda got lost trying to find my way here." I say looking directly at the floor.

"Wait. Are you Alexandra James?" He asks.

"Yes. I just transferred here from Grant High-School in California." I say looking up.

"Oh, well nice to meet you, I am Mr. Davis." He says shaking my hand.

"I prefer to be called Alex." I say shaking his hand back.

"Okay, Alex. Now should we find you a place to sit?" He says grabbing his seating chart.

He skims though it a few times before he looks up. He skims the room and then he eyeballs a seat for me.

"Well, Alex, I am gonna put you next to Jackson." He says pointing to were my seat is.

I head directly to my seat. I put my stuff on the table and open a my notebook to the first page and grab a pencil.

Mr. Davis starts teaching, and I focus. I start to lose my focus when Jackson pokes my shoulder.

"Wait?" I whisper.

"I don't think we meet properly, I am Jackson, Jackson Avery." He says as he holds out his hand.

"Alex, now let me learn." I say putting his hand down.

I go back to what Mr. Davis is saying, until Jackson pokes me again.

"What!" I whisper.

"I just wanted to tell you that you have pretty eyes." He says as looks away.

I don't say anything I just go back to the lesson. The bell finally rings. I get up when Jackson grabs my arm.

"The football team and the cheer squad are having a bonfire tonight. I was wondering if you wanted to go with me if you made the team?" He asks looking at the floor.

Is he really asking me out on a date?

"Um, sure. Pick me up at seven." I say.

"Here is my number, text me your address. I'll see you at seven." He says as he grabs his stuff and walks out.

XXX

Whoa.

This chapter took forever to write.

I just have bad writers block sometimes.

I also have been having wifi troubles.

And I also have been busy with back to school shopping and all that jazz.

I promise the next chapter will be up on Wednesday or Thursday.

Don't be afraid to point out any spelling or grammatical errors.

Anyways.
