I rubbed my eyes as I sat up in my bed, I could barely sleep. I was too excited, the thoughts coursing through my head at a million miles per hour.

I was putting my shoes on when I heard a knock on my door. I jumped up and ran to the door, opening it as quick as I come.
"Woah! You scared me!" Silas said pretending to be shocked, making me giggle.
"Someone seems excited" Levi said putting his hand on my head. "Mhmm, today is a special day!" I replied jumping up and down with excitement.
"It's a special day? Did we forget something?" Silas said pretending that he forgot something.
"I think we have? Is it your birthday?" Levi played along.
"Hmm no..is it yours?" Silas replied with the question.
"Noooo" I replied pulling on Levi's sleeve to pull him out of his joking state. He laughed before giving up. "Ok I think I remember, we're going to go see Lane"
After few more minutes of getting ready, we left for principal lanes office. I held Silas hand as we walked behind Levi. "Why he walking in front of us all the time?" I asked in a whisper.
"That's his role, it's his way of leading and protecting us. He's able to scout out the way for us I guess" Silas explained. I nodded my head in understanding.
Once we made it to the office door Levi knocked on it, I waited behind him with Silas. Mr. Lane opened the door with a smile. "Come in, I've been waiting for you three" he said as he signed for us to come in.
Levi and Silas sat in the chairs across from Mr. Lane who sat in his office chair. I sat down on Silas lap before I didn't want to sit by myself.
"Why don't we get started, bell would you like to look at silas and Levi's files while we talk?" Mr. Lane asked. I nodded.
He retrieved the files and handed them both to me, I decided to go sit on the small sofa he had in his office so I can read them while they talk.
