The little snake opened the box the dragon king left behind.
"The ice flower!" He said surprised.
A few months ago little snakes got injured by phenix fire while fighting a powerful phenix. Even it was not lethal. Years of his cultivation power got destroyed leaving him with internal injuries. The physician who treated him developed a specific pill for him even if it can cure him, his demonic power will be weak for the time being.
But the physician said if he can obtain the ice flower which only grows in the base of the dragon valley ice mountain not only his injuries can cure fast, he can increase his demonic power more than it was before.
But these flowers only bloom once in 500 years. No one knows if it bloomed now or not. Even if it is, no one dares to enter the dragon valley unless they have a death wish.
But the stubborn little snake taking the risk sneaked into the dragon valley. Trying to obtain the ice flower he fell into the dragon king's arms. And almost got beaten to death. But why did the dragon king give it to the little snake by himself.

Early in the morning little snake made some pastries and a big pot of tea waiting for the dragon king to wake up.
"You made pastries?" The dragon king said approaching the outside table where the little snake arranged the breakfast.
"Did you really have only one maid in this big house? No one was here to cook."
"I don't like a lot of people around me" dragon king sat down in front of the little snake.
"What's wrong with keeping a backup." Little snake muttered.
"Not everyday my maids get poisoned by snakes" dragon king said getting a pastry. "What did you do to the little butterfly pea plant?"
"What do you expect me to do with a plant?" Iittle snake said taking a slip from his tea. "I threw it away."
"Hmm... poor butterfly pea I hope she grows well" Dragon said imitating a sad voice.
"Here drink some tea" little snake poured a cup of tea. "I made it specially for you" he said giving the dragon king the tea cup with a sweet smile.
Taking the tea cup dragon king takes a smell of it moving it up to his nose. The little snake tensed up upon that action. Then the dragon king slowly slipped the tea. A mischievous smile appeared in little snakes lips.
"How is it?" The snake asked.
"I just have to say, little one" the dragon king said with a smirk. "Your venom... is so sweet"
The little snake's smile dropped.
"I'm craving for more" saying that the dragon king drank the rest of the tea while the little snake fuming with anger.
