Vahni POV:

I sit on the couch, sipping my coffee and watching the chaos unfold. Vanya is running around, making sure everyone has everything they need for today's dress shopping trip.

Vihaan walks into the room, his hair mussed from sleep. "Morning," he says, flashing me a smile. "Morning," I reply, feeling a flutter in my chest.

Vihaan and Vanya's moms are arguing about who will drive which car, while Vyara is busy checking her phone. Vanya comes over and plops down beside me. "Ready for today?" she asks, bouncing up and down.

I nod, laughing. "As ready as I'll ever be." Vihaan sits down on the other side of me, his thigh brushing against mine. I feel a spark of electricity, but try to ignore it.

"Okay, let's get going!" Vanya's mom calls out, clapping her hands together. We all stand up, grabbing our bags and heading out the door.

Vihaan holds the door open for me, his eyes meeting mine as I pass through. I feel a shiver run down my spine as I smile up at him. Today is going to be an interesting day.

We follow Vanya's mom to a beautiful saree store, filled with racks of stunning fabrics and colors. Vanya squeals with excitement as she begins browsing through the collection.

Vyara and I join in, oohing and aahing over the various designs and patterns. Vanya's mom helps us narrow down the options, and soon we have a few finalists.

Vanya tries on the first saree, a beautiful red one with intricate embroidery. She looks stunning, and we all agree it's a strong contender.

Next, Vyara tries on a gorgeous blue saree, which complements her skin tone perfectly. I'm up next, and Vanya's mom helps me into a beautiful pink saree.

As I adjust the pallu, I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror and can't help but smile. The saree is gorgeous, and I feel like a million bucks.

Just then, I hear the door open, and Vihaan walks in, looking handsome in his casual attire. Our eyes meet, and I feel a flutter in my chest...

I feel my face heat up under Vihaan's intense gaze, and I quickly excuse myself to go back to the changing room. I need a moment to collect myself before I can face him again.

As I change into the yellow suit I've chosen for the haldi ceremony, I try to shake off the feeling of Vihaan's gaze on me. But I can still feel his eyes on me, even from behind the closed door of the changing room.

I take a deep breath and step out of the changing room. As I look around, I don't see Vyara or Aunty anywhere.

"Where's everyone?" I ask Vihaan, looking around the store.

"They've gone to help Vanya into another attire," Vihaan replies, his eyes locked onto mine.

"I should go help them," I say, starting to move towards the dressing room.

But Vihaan catches my arm, pulling me back. "You look beautiful, Vahni," he says, his voice low and sincere.

I feel a flutter in my chest as he compliments me. "Thanks," I reply, trying to sound casual.

But Vihaan's gaze is intense, and I can feel the tension between us building. He takes a step closer to me, his eyes never leaving mine...

...and I can feel the warmth of his breath on my skin. My heart is racing, and I'm not sure what's going to happen next.

"You really do look beautiful, Vahni," Vihaan repeats, his voice low and husky. "I love the way that color brings out your eyes."

I feel a blush rise to my cheeks as Vihaan's gaze lingers on my face. I'm not sure what to say, so I just smile and look away, trying to break the spell.

But Vihaan doesn't let go. He takes another step closer, his eyes never leaving mine. I can feel the tension between us building, and I'm not sure what's going to happen next.

Suddenly, Vihaan reaches out and gently brushes a strand of hair behind my ear. His touch sends shivers down my spine, and I feel like I'm melting into his gaze.

"Vihaan," I whisper, my voice barely audible.

But Vihaan just smiles and leans in closer, his face inches from mine...

...and I feel like I'm going to melt into his gaze. But just as things are getting intense, Vanya bursts out of the dressing room, a huge smile on her face.

"Guys, come see! I've found the perfect dress!" she exclaims, twirling around to show off her outfit.

Vihaan and I jump apart, both of us looking a little guilty. Vanya gives us a knowing smile, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

"Sorry to interrupt," she says, winking at us. "But I just had to show you guys my dress!"

Vihaan clears his throat, trying to play it cool. "You look beautiful, Vanya. That dress is perfect for you."

I nod in agreement, trying to composed myself. "Yeah, you look stunning."

Vanya beams with pride, striking a pose to show off her dress. Vihaan and I exchange a look, both of us trying not to laugh at the interruption.

But as I glance at Vihaan, I can see the tension still simmering between us.

As Vanya finishes showing off her dress, Vanya's mom reminds us that we still have to go jewelry shopping for the big day.

"Okay, let's get going!" Vanya exclaims, clapping her hands together. "I want to find the perfect jewelry to match my dress."

We all pile into the cars and head to the jewelry store. As we walk in, I'm immediately overwhelmed by the sparkle and shine of the jewelry on display.

Vanya dives right in, trying on different necklaces and earrings. Vyara and I join in, oohing and aahing over the different pieces.

Vihaan and Vishaal wanders over to the men's section, trying on different watches and cufflinks. Every so often, Vihaan'll catch my eye and smile, sending a flutter through my chest.

As we shop, Vanya's mom helps us narrow down our choices, giving her expert opinion on what will look best with Vanya's dress.

After what feels like hours, we finally find the perfect jewelry. Vanya looks stunning in her chosen pieces, and we all agree that she's going to make a beautiful bride.

As we're about to leave the store, Vihaan catches up to me, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

"Hey, Vahni," he says, his voice low and husky. "I think I found the perfect piece of jewelry for you."

He holds out a beautiful silver necklace, the pendant glinting in the light.

"What do you think?" he asks, his eyes locked onto mine.

I feel a flutter in my chest as I take in the necklace, and Vihaan's intense gaze...

"It's beautiful," I say, my voice barely above a whisper. I can feel Vihaan's eyes on me, and I'm not sure what to do with the flutter in my chest.

"Keep it with you," I tell him, trying to sound casual. "You can put it on me yourself during the mehndi ceremony."

Vihaan's eyes light up with a smile, and he nods, his gaze never leaving mine. "I'd like that," he says, his voice low and husky.

I feel a shiver run down my spine as Vihaan's fingers brush against mine, taking the necklace from me. He tucks it into his pocket, his eyes never leaving mine.

"I'll make sure to put it on you myself," he says, his voice full of promise.

I feel a blush rise to my cheeks as I meet Vihaan's gaze, the tension between us crackling like electricity...
