Vahni POV:

I'm packing my bags, getting ready to check out of the hotel. Vishal and Vanya are in the next room, and I can hear them chatting and laughing. Vyara is still asleep in her room, and Vihaan is... well, I'm not sure where Vihaan is.

My mind starts to wander back to last night, but I quickly brush off the thoughts. I don't want to go there right now. Instead, I decide to go wake up my sister.

I head to Vyara's room and gently shake her awake. "Hey, sis, time to get up. We need to check out soon."

Vyara groggily opens her eyes and stretches. "What time is it?"

"Late enough that we need to get moving," I reply with a smile.

We chat for a few minutes, catching up on each other's life. Just as we're getting into a conversation, Vishal bursts into the room. "Alright, ladies, time to get ready! We need to check out and hit the road."

We quickly get our bags together and head down to the car. As we're loading our luggage, I catch a glimpse of Vihaan. He's standing by the car, looking handsome as ever. I feel a flutter in my chest, but I try to ignore it.

Once the bags are loaded, we start saying our goodbyes to the hotel staff. As we're about to leave, Vishal assigns the seating arrangements. "Alright, Vahni and Vihaan, you two take the backseat. Vyara and Vanya, you're in the middle. And I'll sit up front with the driver."

I nod, trying not to show my excitement at being stuck in the backseat with Vihaan.

As we hit the road, the conversation flows easily. Vanya and Vyara are laughing and joking in the middle seat, while Vishal is chatting with the driver up front.

Vihaan and I are sitting quietly in the backseat, but I can feel his presence beside me. Every so often, our legs brush against each other, sending a spark of electricity through my body.

I try to focus on the scenery outside the window, but my mind keeps wandering back to last night. The way Vihaan touched me, the way he looked at me... it all feels so intimate, so personal.

I glance over at Vihaan, who's staring out the window, lost in thought. I wonder what he's thinking, if he's feeling the same tension that I am.

Suddenly, Vanya turns around from the middle seat. "Hey, guys, what's the plan for lunch?"

Vihaan turns to me, a small smile playing on his lips. "What do you think? Should we stop somewhere for lunch?"

I shrug, trying to play it cool. "I'm game for whatever. What does everyone else think?"

Vyara chimes in from the middle seat. "I'm starving! Let's stop somewhere soon."

Vishal turns around from the front seat. "Alright, we'll stop at the next decent-looking restaurant we see. Sound good to everyone?"

We all nod in agreement, and the conversation continues, with everyone chatting and laughing.

As the conversation flows around us, Vihaan subtly places his hand on my thigh. At first, I think it's just an accidental touch, but then I feel him draw soothing circles on my skin. I try to focus on the conversation, but my mind starts to wander.

Suddenly, Vihaan inches closer to me, his breath whispering against my ear. "So, how's your boyfriend, Vahni?" he asks, his voice low and husky.

I cough, trying to manage a response. "He's good. We talk every night."

Vihaan raises an eyebrow, a sly smile spreading across his face. "Oh, really? But as far as I remember, every night I was kissing you."

My face turns bright red as I feel a surge of embarrassment. Vihaan chuckles, his eyes glinting with amusement.

"I know you don't have one, Vahni," he says, his voice dripping with teasing. "Stop pretending."

I try to play it cool, but my heart is racing. How did he know? And why is he calling me out on it?

I try to brush off Vihaan's comment, but I can feel my face burning with embarrassment. "Shut up, Vihaan," I whisper, trying to play it cool.

But Vihaan just chuckles and leans in closer. "I'm not buying it, Vahni," he whispers, his breath sending shivers down my spine. "You're not exactly the best liar."

I feel a surge of annoyance, but before I can respond, Vanya turns around from the middle seat. "Hey, guys, what's going on back there?"

Vihaan quickly sits back up, a innocent look on his face. "Just discussing the merits of different types of music," he says, trying to sound convincing.

Vanya raises an eyebrow, clearly not buying it. "Uh-huh. Well, just keep it down, okay? Some of us are trying to sleep."

I shoot Vihaan a warning look, but he just grins and winks at me. I feel a flutter in my chest, and I know I'm in trouble.

As Vanya turns back around, Vihaan leans in close again, his voice barely above a whisper. "So, Vahni, now that we've established you don't have a boyfriend..."

I feel a shiver run down my spine as Vihaan's breath tickles my ear. I try to play it cool, but my heart is racing. "What's your point, Vihaan?" I whisper back, trying to sound calm.

Vihaan's grin widens, and he leans in even closer. "My point is, you're free to do whatever you want... with whoever you want."

I try to break eye contact, but Vihaan's gaze holds me captive. I feel like I'm drowning in the depths of his eyes. Suddenly, the car hits a bump, and Vihaan's hand brushes against mine.

The touch sends a spark of electricity through my body, and I feel my heart racing. I try to pull my hand away, but Vihaan's fingers wrap around mine, holding me in place.

"What are you doing?" I whisper, trying to sound calm.

Vihaan's smile is mischievous. "Just making sure you don't get away," he whispers back, his eyes glinting with amusement.

I feel a shiver run down my spine as Vihaan's words hang in the air.

As Vihaan's fingers intertwine with mine, I feel a rush of excitement mixed with a hint of fear. I know I should pull away, but my body seems to be betraying me. The car falls silent, the only sound the hum of the engine and the soft rustle of our breathing. I glance up to meet Vihaan's gaze, and for a moment, we just stare at each other, the tension between us palpable. And then, just as suddenly, Vihaan releases my hand, and the spell is broken. "We're here," he says, his voice low and husky, as the car pulls up to the station.
