It was noon now, the sun now hidden behind a blanket of gray clouds. The streets were busy, the world already more than awake. You stood on the sidewalk, a chill in the air that had nothing to do with the temperature, something heavier, more pervasive.

The sound of your shoes against the pavement was the only thing breaking the silence as you walked toward the train station. Your breath came in small, steady bursts—nothing too harsh, but still enough to remind you that something inside you wasn't quite right. Not anymore.

After your talk with Aizawa you realized that to defeat All For One and get Tenko back you needed the help of a team.

Even if it meant revealing your whole past to the world.

The weight of your tote bag over your shoulder felt heavier than it should have. You reached inside to double-check: your appointment card, a few personal items, your hero ID. Nothing out of the ordinary, but the routine felt like a strange ritual now. You had done this a few times bow, but every time you did, it felt like you were stepping further into something unfamiliar—something you didn't know how to handle.

The train station loomed ahead, its steel frame rising out of the mist. A few commuters walked by, heads down, lost in their own worlds. The faint hum of distant trains filled the air as the tracks seemed to stretch on forever.

You didn't hear him approach, not at first. That's how he moved—silent, almost invisible when he wanted to be.

Before you could register what was happening, you felt a shift in the space behind you, the hairs on the back of your neck standing up as you sensed something just off. And then, it happened.

A hand brushed against your shoulder, and you instinctively tensed, a small, startled gasp escaping your lips before you could stop it.

"Relax," a voice murmured, low and lazy. It was Tenko, his voice as calm as ever, softer whenever he was with you.

Before you could react, before you could ask what the hell he was doing out in broad daylight, his arms slid around your waist, pulling you back against his chest in a loose, unhurried embrace.

It wasn't like him. Tenko wasn't the type to show affection without thinking, at least not in a way anyone could easily recognize. Especially in public, with him being a villain and all. He was too guarded, too sharp, too quick to push others away. But here he was, his chin resting lightly against your shoulder, his arms wrapped around you in the middle of a train station like it was something natural for you both.

"Tenko" You said, your voice barely above a whisper, "What are you doing here?"

Tomura didn't respond immediately. He just held you for a moment longer, the heat from his body against your back contrasting sharply with the cool spring air. You could feel the subtle tremble in his arms.

"I missed you" His voice trailed off, the words hanging in the air, like he was struggling to find the right ones.

With those few words your sudden nervousness dissipated and dissolved into thin air. His embrace was enough to make you feel grounded again.

You chuckled softly, "I didn't take you for one to display PDA."

When he finally spoke again, his voice was quieter, almost muffled against your shoulder. "I'm not good at this. So don't... don't expect me to do it again."

"Don't worry, I won't," you smiled, the words light but sincere.

His grip loosened just slightly, but he didn't move away completely. There was still a hesitation in his actions—like he wasn't quite sure what to do next, but that was okay. Maybe, just maybe, you weren't the only one who needed a moment of quiet. A moment to just... be.
