"Everyone else isn't you, it turns out that it's a huge problem for me"

Present --Vahni POV:
As the morning sun streams through the train windows, everyone starts to stir. We quickly get ready, and before long, the train is pulling into Kalka station.
I look up to see Vanya staring at me, a concerned expression on her face. "Hey, didn't you sleep last night?" she asks, eyeing me critically. "You look like you've been up all night!"
I try to smile, but it feels forced. "Can't sleep in trains," I reply, trying to brush it off.
Vanya nods sympathetically. "My brother's the same way. Speaking of which, Vihaan, did you get any sleep?"
I glance over at Vihaan, who's sitting across from me, looking as grumpy as I feel. "No," he grunts, his eyes still looking sleepy.
I can feel the tension between us, leftover from last night's conversation. I try to ignore it, but it's hard to shake off the feeling that things have changed between us.
Vyara looks at me with a curious expression, sensing the tension between Vihaan and me. "Vahni, what's wrong?" she asks, her voice low.
I shake my head, not wanting to talk about it. "Nothing," I reply, trying to brush it off.
Vyara looks unconvinced, but she doesn't push the issue. Instead, she stands up and says, "Come on, guys! Let's get moving! We don't want to miss the toy train!"
We quickly gather our belongings and make our way to the toy train station. Before long, we're chugging along the winding tracks, taking in the breathtaking views of the Himalayas.
As we ride the train, Vanya starts chatting excitedly about our plans for Shimla. "Okay, guys, so we need to decide what we want to do first. Do we want to visit the Mall Road, or the Ridge?"
Vyara pipes up, "Ooh, can we please visit the Mall Road? I want to try some of the local street food!"
Vihaan grunts, "Whatever, as long as we get some decent food."
I just smile and nod, still feeling a bit awkward after our conversation last night. But as we continue to chat and laugh, I start to feel a bit more at ease.
Vishal speaks up, "Hold on, guys. Before we start exploring Shimla, let's first check into our hotel and freshen up. We've been traveling all night, and we could all use a break."
We all nod in agreement, and Vishal continues, "I've already booked a hotel near the Mall Road, so it's convenient for us to explore the city."
The toy train pulls into the Shimla station, and we gather our belongings and make our way to the hotel. As we walk, I can feel the crisp mountain air filling my lungs, and I'm excited to explore this beautiful city with my friends.
We arrive at the hotel and are greeted by the friendly staff. Vishal takes care of the check-in formalities, and soon we're all settled into our rooms.
As I freshen up, I can feel my fatigue melting away. I take a few minutes to gaze out the window, taking in the breathtaking view of the Himalayas.
After we're all refreshed, we gather in the hotel lobby, eager to start our adventure in Shimla. Vanya looks at us with a mischievous grin. "Alright, guys! Now that we're all energized, let's go explore this beautiful city!"
We all cheer in agreement, and Vihaan adds, "And let's not forget to try some of the local cuisine. I'm starving!"
I roll my eyes good-naturedly. "You're always starving, Vihaan."
He smirks, and we all share a laugh as we set out to explore Shimla.
We set out of the hotel, strolling along the Mall Road. Vishal, Vanya, and Vyara are ahead of us, laughing and chatting. Vihaan and I fall behind, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
As we walk, Vihaan's hand brushes against mine. And then, without warning, he takes my hand in his. I feel a rush of excitement at the touch, and I look up at him in surprise.
"What are you doing?" I whisper, trying to keep my voice down.
Vihaan just smiles, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Just enjoying the view," he replies, his voice low and husky.
We walk hand in hand for a few moments, the cool mountain air filling our lungs. And then, as we approach the others, I gently pull my hand out of Vihaan's.
We catch up with Vishal, Vanya, and Vyara, and the five of us continue our stroll along the Mall Road, taking in the sights and sounds of the bustling street.
As the night begins to fall, we start to feel exhausted. The day's activities have taken their toll, and we're all ready to call it a night.
"Let's head back to the hotel," Vishal suggests, yawning. "I'm beat."
We all nod in agreement, and make our way back to the hotel. As we walk, Vihaan falls into step beside me, but we don't say much. We're both too tired.
When we arrive at the hotel, we say our goodnights and head to our respective rooms. Vanya and Vishal head to their room, while Vyara and I head to ours. Vihaan, meanwhile, heads to his room, which is just across the hall from ours.
As I'm getting ready for bed, I hear a knock at the door. I open it to find Vihaan standing there, looking handsome in his worn jeans and faded T-shirt.
"Hey," he says, his voice low and husky. "I just wanted to make sure you're okay."
I nod, feeling a flutter in my chest. "I'm fine," I reply, trying to sound casual. "Just tired."
Vihaan nods, his eyes searching mine. And then, without warning, he reaches out and gently brushes a strand of hair out of my face.
My heart skips a beat at the touch, and I feel a rush of excitement. "Goodnight, Vahni," Vihaan says, his voice low and husky.
"Goodnight, Vihaan," I reply, my voice barely above a whisper.
As Vihaan turns to leave, I feel a pang of disappointment. But then, he turns back and smiles at me, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
"Sweet dreams," he says, his voice low and husky.
And with that, he turns and walks away, leaving me feeling breathless and excited.
