Vahni POV:

I break the tension and say, "Let's head back home." Anisha nods and says, "Let me call my driver to pick me up." I stand up, and Veer asks, "How will you go?" I reply, "I'll walk." Veer says, "Nah, let me drop you home. Till then, one of the guys can stay and watch Vyan." I shake my head and say, "No need, I'll be able to go, and it's just 10 at night, it's not too late."

Vihaan suddenly interrupts, "I can drop her off, it's on my way." Veer gets up, his eyes narrowing as he glares at Vihaan. "No, you don't have to," he says gruffly.

The atmosphere in the room becomes tense once again. Anisha looks uncomfortable, and Aryaan tries to intervene. "Hey, it's no big deal, Veer. Vihaan can drop her off." But Veer's expression remains stubborn, his eyes still fixed on Vihaan.

Vihaan's face is expressionless, but his eyes seem to flash with a hint of challenge. "I don't mind dropping her off," he repeats, his voice low and even. The air is thick with tension as Veer and Vihaan engage in a silent standoff.

Anisha's voice cuts through the tension, firm and authoritative. "Stop it, you guys. I'll drop Vahni off." She stands up, her eyes flashing with annoyance. "There's no need for this."

Veer and Vihaan both look at Anisha, their faces relaxing slightly as they back down. Veer nods, "Okay, fine. Anisha can drop you off." Vihaan's expression is neutral, but his eyes seem to gleam with a hint of amusement.

I nod, feeling a mix of relief and gratitude towards Anisha. "Thanks, Anisha. I appreciate it." Anisha smiles and says, "No problem, let's get going."

As we drive away from Aryaan's house, Anisha breaks the silence. "So, what's going on with Vihaan? He's been acting really weird lately." I shrug, trying to play it cool. "I don't know, maybe he's just stressed or something."

Anisha raises an eyebrow. "Stressed? That's not the vibe I got. It seems like he's... watching you or something." I feel a shiver run down my spine as I recall the way Vihaan's eyes seemed to bore into mine.

I decide to change the topic and say, "Tomorrow is results." Anisha says, "Yeah, I'm worried a bit." I nod too.

As the night comes to a close, I head home, my mind still reeling from the tension at Aryaan's house. As soon as I walk into my room, I pick up my phone and text Veer

Me: "Hey, sorry for how the night ended at your house. It was supposed to be a fun night."

Veer replies almost immediately: "It's not your fault. It's Vihaan who's acting strange and possessive, as if he didn't do shit to you just 2 months back."

Me: "I know, right? I'm so done with his drama. I just wish he'd leave me alone."

Veer: "Don't worry, I've got your back. He's not going to bother you again. Did Anisha drop you off okay?"

Me: "Yeah, she did. Thanks for checking in on me, Veer. You're the best!"

Veer: "Alright, get some rest. Best of luck for tomorrow's results!"

Me: "Thanks, Veer! You too! Goodnight!"

Veer: "Goodnight!"

I put down my phone and begin my night routine, trying to shake off the lingering thoughts of Vihaan's strange behavior. After brushing my teeth and changing into comfy PJs, I climb into bed and snuggle under the blankets. Despite the excitement and nerves about the results, I drift off to sleep, exhausted from the events of the night.

I wake up early, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. Today's the day I find out if I got into med college. I quickly get dressed and head downstairs to the living room, where Mom and Dad are already waiting for me.

We sit down together in front of the computer, and I take a deep breath as I log in to the university's website. My heart is racing as I click on the link to check my results.

And then I see it: "Congratulations, Vahni Sharma!  You have been selected for admission to the Bachelor of Medicine program." I scream with excitement, jumping out of my seat as Mom and Dad hug me tightly.

"We're so proud of you, beta!" Mom exclaims, tears of joy streaming down her face. Dad beams with pride, patting me on the back. "You've worked so hard for this. You deserve it."

I'm over the moon, bouncing up and down like a rubber ball. I got in! I actually got into med college!

I quickly grab my phone and dial Anisha's number, barely containing my excitement. "Anisha! Oh my god, I got into med college!" Anisha screams on the other end of the line, and I can tell she's jumping up and down. "Me too! I got into engineering! And Veer got into business school!"

I squeal with delight, feeling like I'm on top of the world. We spend the next few minutes screaming and congratulating each other, still in shock from the good news.

As we calm down, Anisha says, "We have to celebrate tonight! Let's go to the club and have one last night of fun before college life starts!" I agree enthusiastically, and we make plans to meet up at the club later that night.

I hang up the phone and turn to Mom and Dad, who are still beaming with pride. "Anisha got into engineering, and Veer got into business school! We're going to celebrate tonight at the club." Mom smiles and nods, "Have fun, beta. You deserve it."
